Do You Know about Any Internet Business School in Your Locality?

I don't know whether any internet business/marketing college/school exists in Nigeria. I have made some research but no positive result.

Do you have any in your locality? What do they really have to offer because I think this whole internet business stuff should be more practical than theoretical. So, I think you don't even need a college professor to teach you anything.

    Just found this through a quick google search - Which Colleges Offer Internet Marketing Courses and Degree Programs Online?

    I understand you can complete IM degrees and courses here in the UK as well, but i know far too little about it to comment!

    I would hazard a guess that if you were completing an IM degree, you are not only looking to learn the practical skills, you are also looking to learn how to run a business.

      Thanks, Partha. Is the IM college really worth the money, time, energy and so on?

      Don't you think Warrior Forum should be the best internet business school considering the fact that we learn practical skills and how to run a business online/offline, oftentimes for FREE?

    That's like saying that you don't need any education because you can learn everything you need to know from using Google - why should we bother with schools?

    Seriously - there's a lot more to running a successful business than you're likely to pick up hanging around forums alone.

    Hardly anyone here talks of cashflow, roi, assets, costs, the macro environment etc....

    There's no substitute for education.

    Sure you can hang around the forum and hope you learn everything - but how can you distinguish the fluff, lies, hype and misinformation from real facts, data, test results, successful modeling etc.?

    Not to mention the fact that most people here are not qualified or experienced in successfully teaching what they do know, so even if you stumbled across good information - it's highly unlikely to be offered in an effective way.

    Most people that come here are looking for shortcuts and quick solutions to success, so even if there was the right information, well presented with no errors, mistakes or invalid data - it would get ignored by most people anyway because it would indicate that effort was required.


    Come on - just because you CAN get success without being properly educated on your subject that doesn't mean you should.....
