My favourate Ever Post on the Warrior Forum

Hi

This is the single most inspiring, exciting and confidence boosting thread on the entire Warrior Forum in my opinion: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ke-3117-a.html

Basically I've worked my absolute arse off this past 8 months giving it my everything and have very little return on it making mistakes and finding out that following techniques to exactly what they say and often doing more than that often doesn't work out like they say it will. I'm feeling really disheartened and it's starting to cause a strain in my relationship with my fiance wondering why I'm spending so much less time with her working on something that's brought me back virtually no returns when compared with investment.

All I want to do is be able to make enough money eventually to retire from my day job and do this full-time. I would be ridiculously happy working as hard as he does and making a quarter of what he makes.

I am really ready to put all the hard work and effort required in to this and break my back doing all the grind. I just want to follow a clearly laid out system like the guy in the post up there did and know that it will somewhat work. I've tried messaging him but it appears he doesn't use this forum anymore. I would be more than happy to write double the amount of articles a day and work even harder than he did with the limited time I have if I knew clearly what he was doing to link building/keyword research/seo etc.

Everything I've learned so far has been either through research, some paid info or pure learning through mistakes. I don't know anybody that does this full time and makes any money from it, I've never had any guidence from somebody I know who could take the time to tell me if I'm doing stuff right or wrong.

I would love a mentor who is succesfully making enough money to make a decent living out of it all to mentor me and tell me what his/her process is step by step and whether I'm doing things right or wrong. Or if anybody can point me to a clearly layed out guide that worked for them when followed exactly I'll be extremely gratefull.

Finally, if anyone would be looking to mentor somebody I would be a really eager student. I would be happy to write free articles for you and do free backlinking etc. in order that I learn the process. Or perhaps share my revenue from the sites I get helped with 50/50. Or just build your site for you with your directions! I'm just looking for something that can work consistently with consistent effort. Like the guy up there, I just want to find a plan and then stick solidly to it.

cheers guys

So are you saying you followed his plan with no success? You've
been writing 5 articles a day?

What you do not know are the markets he was promoting, or the products
    rather.

If you have been doing article marketing, how do you know you were doing
it correctly? There are some things you can do with article marketing that
    perform better than other things.

I have read a lot of great threads over the past 2 + years here on the WF. It is too bad that I did not run into you a few weeks ago. I wound up taking on 3 students for free. Only one has followed through to date ....

There is an awful lot of great info. to be accessed through the Search button ... you'll make it!

do NOT desperately work on something for 8 months which does not give a return..you should have stopped much earlier!

I don't know what method you used, or maybe you did something essentially wrong...i myself doing article marketing also and it works "all right"...but there are just many factors which are important, starting with keyword research/landing pages and most importantly WHAT you sell.

Its often trial/error...but dont pursue stuff which doesn't yield returns for such a long time please!

The quickest shortcut to success is asking someone who is already successful to show you how they do it. Hope you find the mentor you're looking for.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies

I didn't desperately work my arse off at one thing, I've done three different projects. A lot of it slowed me down because I was so new, stuff that seemed to take half a minute in their explanation took me four hours!

One project did bring me results but weren't enough for the time it took. The guide massively underestimated the time that's involved and it just wasn't profitable enough to follow through with as it barely brought me any results.

At one point of I was posting more than five articles per day, I guess wasn't doing it in the way the the guy in the post I linked to was doing it. I would happily do anything if it was a clearly layed out system that I knew would work.

I will PM you marhelper when I ge a chance.

      cheers guys

That was a great post and thread, but what frustrated me about it at the time(and still now actually) was that he didn't really go into what he did other than write and submit lots of articles every single day. He didn't go into his titles, his CTR's, how he approached the SEO aspects, backlinking or anything like that. Still though, it was very inspiring and demonstrated that with enough wantpower(yes, I said wantpower, not willpower - thanks to Paul Myers for that one ) - anything is possible.

birdman - if article marketing is where you feel your strength lies then I know exactly the thing for you. Tim Gorman is correctly regarded as an article marketing legend around here and all over the internet. I had never bought a product of his until a couple of weeks ago, and when I bought this one, it really opened my eyes to how article marketing works. Trust me on this, the answer to every question you have about article marketing is in there

        http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...will-sold.html

If you can put what you learn from that together with the level of productivity shown by PWard - you can be one hot article marketer

        The very best of luck

Once you've done that, the real key to success is to follow through. So many people forget that MOST essential part

NO following through = NO results.

Before one decides that it's not working they have to have done EVERYTHING they were told.

Liam: I completely agree with you. It also made me so annoyed at the time as well as no details!

I will look into that when I get a chance. How have you been doing it so far? Any successes to report?

If i buy it, perhaps we could mentor and coach each other as we go along.

        Cheers

What amazed me was that barely anybody asked in the thread

Since I've been implementing the stuff I have learned from Tim's WSO, my CTR's, traffic and sales have all improved, but more than that - I have now learned how to approach things for a long time to come. I have put together some of my own own ideas with the ones I have learned

I haven't had time to work on my own articles this week as yet because I've been busy doing freelance work, but I know I have a very solid strategy now, and a lot of it is down to that WSO. I highly recommend it. Don't forget, you can also E-Mail Tim with any questions(about anything to do with article marketing) for an unlimited time after your purchase

Can I ask why you aren't willing to pay for coaching? Surely it would be a small price for a new life?

Have you heard the phrase - you get what you pay for?

Your wanting to retire from the 9-5 world, but all you are willing to pay for an edge is writing some free articles?

To my mind, this means either you aren't sure it is possible to make money on the internet. Either that, or you feel you can do it on the cheap.

I realise I am being harsh, but you might as well start off right - ask yourself why you aren't willing to pay for coaching or invest in your future - yet you are willing to trade free articles for it?

How much would you say what you are offering free is worth? That is the price you have just put on your future - how much it is worth to you.

If you genuinely can't invest the money, then pick just one strategy off here and keep going it. Making money online isn't easy, you need to put the work in. So many people seem to expect it to come easily, and sadly, the truth is that it requires hard work.

It sounds like you can do the hard work part, you just need to pick a single path - there are many useful posts on here.

It can work out really well, and you can do very well, but you can't be looking to others.

in short, you sound like you have some good attitudes going - but you need to be careful of expecting too much from others.

Good luck, and all the best - I would suggest researching niche marketing on here, as you can obviously write

Thanks, I completely get your reply Steve Peters Benn.

I would happily pay for coaching if I had any spare funds. I work a pretty low payed job (looking for some better ones at the moment though) and I have some debt I'm repaying at the moment. On top of that after rent and everything (including repayments for this laptop I'm writing on now and my mobile broadband) I really don't have that kind of money.

The reason why I suggested article writing for somebody is that I was thinking if I didn't have money, how else could I give value you a succesfull internet marketer? Well I thought I could literally do all the manual work for them for their sites, as long as I was told what to do. That way they are getting all the work done for them and I am learning how do effectively write article, link build etc. This is a win/win situation. You are precisely right, I can put in the hard work, I just need a single path that I'm clear on .

I wouldn't want to be mentored if the person who was coaching me wasn't really fully into it.

    Well here's the thing...

    Formulas CHANGE frequently.

What worked 2 months ago, might not work well today. The internet marketing
    scene is always changing.

You need to be in front of it, testing new things out often. Keep trying different things until you find something that works for you.
