changes to XP - any thoughts about how this will effect us?

    I don't think it will be much of an issue. People using XP are either people with older computers, or software developers. The people with XP will naturally need to 'buy' a new computer if they want to have access to the newest features (i.e., 3D software, games, etc), and software developers know what they are doing, so will find a workaround.

    Plus, if there was ever a "major" issue (i.e., a super high demand for superhuge harddrives for people with XP computers), most likely it would be fairly trivial for a software company to write a device driver for the drive that would allow the two to communicate effectively and easily.

    So not the end of the world for us xp users, I can only see it being a problem if you use XP to do HD intensive stuff like multi track audio recording ect..

    In terms of using XP to build sites, Distribute articles ect... i dont think we will see much a of a performace issue.

    anyways, nice to see a fellow oxfordshire resident here on the forum
