IN DESEPERATE NEED OF A MENTOR!

Hi my name is Jamie, and I am new to the Warrior Forum. I have been doing affiliate marketing now for about 6 months. My first course I purchased to learn about how to make money online was a course from Chris Carpenter, and I learned a lot about direct linking PPC with adwords. I made a few sells but lost more than I made. Probably sounds framiliar to some out there. Lately I have been reading everything I can get my hands on for free about affiliate marketing and I feel like I have information overload. I feel like I have been spinning my wheels for a couple of months now.
The reason I am writing this thread is to find out if there is any mentor's out there that would be willing to take on a some what newbie to affiliate marketing. I really need some help. I just found out the other day from my wife that I am about to have another baby. I am the sole provider for my wife and two soon to be three children. I am like a lot of people out there right now and are working my butt off just to make enough money to barely survive. I don't have adequate health care for my family because it is so dang expensive. Not that I am trying to make people feel sorry for me I am just stating how hard it is out there today, which alot of people are in the same place as me.
I am realistic and know that I will not make tens of thousands of dollars a month right away, I know it takes hard work and persistance, I want to just get going in affiliate marketing making an extra $100 dollars a day would help me out so much.
I don't have a lot of money to pay a mentor but I would be willing to share my profits while they were teaching me or to do any side work for there business they might need help with for free. I am willing to do what ever it takes to make it online. If anyone out there has been in my same position and would be willing to take a student on I promise you would not regret it. I am a honest hard working person.

Thanks for reading my post

Well you know what this forum can be your mentor. Search for posts here and APPLY them. If you are not too discouraged by adsense, I would suggest you to read xfactors posts and build up micro niche sites. In case you need any help from my side, I am always there to answer to the PM's. All the best!

If you hired me as a mentor, the first three things I would tell you to do are...

    Read.

    Read.

    Read.

So, save your money, and start filling your noggin with good stuff.

Look for "All-In-One" threads on topics of interest.

    Join the War Room.

Blammo! Just saved yourself a ton of money and hassle.

    You can do it.

Educate yourself, then start taking action. Once you start taking action and hit some stumbling blocks, just ask away here at the forum.

The reason I say to take action before asking questions, is that your questions will be "real" instead of "hypothetical". Now, don't get me wrong, hypothetical questions have their place, but it sounds like you don't really have that much time.

    All the best,
    Michael

      This forum is your mentor.

Read some of the threads on here.

When you find something you like.

Start DOING it and then ask for questions where you get stuck.

As long as your applying what you learn people will be happy to answer your questions as you go along.

You are on the right track and in the right place to move ahead
      in your IM journey.

      Congrats on your new baby!

It is information overload in the beginning but there are some things
you can do to keep it to a minimum. Refuse to waste time on things
that do not make you money.

Make a simple outline of topics you will read, such as:
      -traffic strategies----paid/or free (article)
      -outsourcing.....

...and only read what you "need" to read to improve your income.

Keep the reading to a minimum, otherwise you will be the smartest
broke marketer in your neck of the woods. Do things that will
      make money.

If you have questions along the way post them in the forum and
people will be happy to give you several answers that should
lead you in the right direction.

So the forum can be your "mentor" or mastermind.

Keep in mind also that if you buy a WSO which is little to
no money, many of them will give you one on one help.

No need to lose anymore money with ppc, use a method that
      has zero to no cost.

      My 2 cents!

  • I have to agree that this forum can be a great MENTOR. I am new here and have already learned quite a few things I did not know before. I simply skim through the different threads, and when I find a post that seems like it might have valuable information, I go to it. And, believe me I have yet to find a thread here at WF, that has not been interesting or not worth my time. Enjoy your time here Jamie.

While you can market what ever you want as an affiliate, you might look into looking for things you can sell/promote where you can use your current knowledge of the job you have.

I'm sure there has to be some CPA (cost per action) options out there that might be an easy kickstart. You can get money for just bringing in the leads to larger insurance companies.

I just did a quick google search for insurance affiliate program and a ton of things came up.

I even found one that pays out $25 a lead, which is not bad.

Take some time, explore the different affiliate program options, and start setting up some campaigns to promote them.

There are some plans amongst this forum.

All you need is a page up on the web (use keywords in the domain) and to start driving traffic via articles, etc.

I don't know what your expertise is - but I'm sure you can come up with some convincing reasons people need to get some kind of insurance.

Great advice, Can't really advise as I'm quite new and still finding my way, but just have to say how great this forum is, every post provides nuggets of gold, and your post provides answers for many in the same situation. Good luck.
