Brilliant Viral Marketing by Borders and Jack Reacher
I just got an email from Borders this morning, who is having a competition on Facebook.
It's a brilliant bit of viral marketing.
It's to advertise Lee Child's new book, and you basically upload a photo and it's layed under a "template" of Jack Reacher.

Now what is going to happen is a tonne of people will upload their photos and then tell all their friends to vote for them. High pressure "sales" for free.
Comps like this are a brilliant example of viral marketing, and also shows that a lot of the "big companies" are looking to harness the power of social marketing.
