Can you link to an Ezine article from within another Ezine article?

OK, I submitted a few articles to Ezine.com and linked to another one of my Ezine.com articles in the resource box. None of them were accepted and the reason was that it couldn't accept the Ezine areticle links. Has this happened to anyone else recently?

I believe their TOS (Terms Of Service) Agreement states that you must link to your own domain.

That's right, you're not allowed to link one EZA article to another EZA article. Just link from other article directories instead e.g. Goarticles.

You can link to EA articles written by other authors with no trouble, at least I have done so a few times.

The rule is that your "self serving" links need to be in the resource box.

Yes, it's happened to me recently.

One thing I've noticed with EZA is that you can't rely on searching the web to see what's been done in other articles on EZA in order to figure out what's allowed. The rules change all the time, and old articles aren't affected.

I thought I could link to another article of mine, just because I found articles where other authors had done it. But, no. I've also been rejected for profanity (I used the word "dick") and other reasons, just because when I couldn't find an answer in the official guidelines, I made decisions based on what I saw in other people's articles.

So now I have dozens of articles on EZA, but still haven't made platinum because I haven't managed to submit enough articles in a row without getting a rejection.

Alexa, yes I just went back and read their TOS again and saw this:

"Maximum of (2) "Self-Serving" active or inactive links/URLs to a website that you own, control, or have an interest in."

    Then this:

"Confine your self-serving links to your RESOURCE BOX".

I guess all of these years I had a habit of only putting two of my domain links in my resource box that I just thought it was "the rule"

It was my own "rule". I always put a keyword anchor text and then a full url and have been doing it for so long that I don't even think about it anymore.

p.s. Alexa, speaking of SIG files, when is your site going to be ready? Is that the only way to hire you or are you writing for clients now? And how do we hire you?

I spose what is the point of doing it?

Does a backlink from within the same domain count much?

Probably better linking to it from another aticle directory to boost your ezine article as others have suggested.
