Frank Kern's List Control & Andy Jenkin's Video Boss = Kajabi

I am amazed... I like to look at sales processes. ( I am a freak like that). I was noticing that these latest big time fancy pants launches had one thing in common. (Kajabi) Kajabi

I noticed that the videos and pages seem to be pre-loaded already and are possibly time released, (What it seems to me); a launch-O-matic type of content management system.

If this is the case, this piece of software will be pretty awesome. It will manage the Launch and membership site as well as product distribution.

Anyway, thought I would share... Seems like another cool shopping cart for information products.

I wanted to ask the same. Does anyone know when this would be available and what the cost would be?

I received an email about Kajabi today and they said that they will announce a definite release date in July.

Shane, I purchased Video Boss and love it. But I was thinking the same thing about the videos pages they did seem to be pre-loaded.

You know those Guru's they all hang together. But I am going to ask Andy about that.

I really liked it and would like to use something like that very soon. I will keep you updated on what I find out.

I would definitely be interested in this or something like this. Let me know I would be very interested in what he says. They have a San Diego mafia sort of thing going on. lol

Mike Filsaime is heading in the direction of focusing on "software as a service", and I noticed that is what this website describes itself as.

Me thinks there could be a connection...

Yep, selling and renting shovels to the miners. A proven moneymaking strategy.

Don't know why he's making a big song and dance of it lately.
He's been in the services game for ages with things like paydotcom and prosender.

looks like something that works by private invitation only

Frank's & Andy's launches are even using the same page template
    + 4 pre-launch videos...etc..

seems to me that one of them is copying from the other
But I know that these two are having a lot of JVs together.

Yes, I think it is a La Jolla mafia thing too!

The video on the latest Kern film was a Flowplayer on the Kajabi server. I reckon Andy Jenkins is behind it?, and I hope so, although he and Jeff Walker seemed to be using Ooyala until very recently.

Could be a partnership with Walker and Jenkins? Has product Launch Formula like tendencies. Look forward to when it goes mainstream.

I noticed it too during Andy's Launch....and got on their list.

Seems that they are still in beta. I have received one email from Andy in which he and the creators of Kajabi announced that their trial run with Video Boss was a success (under extreme traffic conditions)

Not sure what is to come but I hope it is available to the public

        All the best

Andy Jenkins used to be the big front man behind Stompernet. A video production genius, who was probably behind the production of Frank's launch videos.

He definitely doesn't need more Cowbell he produces a lot of awesome stuff.

He used to be a videographer/producer for big time movie companies and made one of his claims to fame selling movie prop swords and regalia.

Yeah, It will not be cheap. I think it will probably be a monthly fee probably with the price point of something like Traffic Geyser. IMHO.

Whatever it is it's not going to be cheap and it's probably going to charge monthly.

The thing is, it's almost a perfect, semi-automated "package" to do massive product launches. The big boys are using it so it must be something.

Alot of people are using EasyS3.

The Kajabi platform is something that Andy is developing and Frank is testing for his launch. It isn't a replacement for infusionsoft from what I can tell, instead, it's a bit of a launch platform and membership site with lot's of bells and whistles. It may actually sit on top of Wordpress.

I'm on the beta notification list and just got an update that they may be releasing something in a few months

Actually, if this is true, and Frank was "testing" it with List Control then it's not Wordpress, it's ripped off SocialEngine code, being used Illegally.

This is not true. Kajabi is completely independent from the "Good Karma List Machine" that you are refferring to. Kajabi is an internet marketing all in one solution that is being developed "in house" by some big players in the internet marketing field. Kajabi Review has a bit of information on it however the public launch isn't until May if I remember right.

Then why were all the videos embedded from Kajabi? If you were following along the 4 days of emails, and the pre-emtive double opt in with referrer bonus of his previous videos, which was using ListMachine, it's pretty obvious that it's the same software. Is it not?

Alright, what ever you're smokin........pass some over here.

Andy Jenkins is a BADASS. Straight up. An absolute soldier.

I'm a member of Video Boss and can tell you that his course has set a new bar as far as Video Information Products (and Launches for that matter) are concerned.

Anyone who is a member of Video Boss can vouch for the fact that this course has been so comprehensive and so well planned out that it dwarfs almost anything in comparison (from what I've seen in my limited experience). It will be a reference point for me and many others for many years to come - I guarantee it!

In any case, Andy has sincerely gone well above and beyond in an attempt to OVER-deliver Value to all of his Video Boss members. And he has succeeded.

        Now about Kajabi:

I've been a member of several other membership sites and I really dig Kajabi's structure. The Q&A and commenting section is a bit different from a forum -but that is by design. Anyways, as someone else already mentioned, it's performed very well under "pressure" so to speak.

It's still in beta mode and it won't be released to the public until it's, as Andy put it and I'm paraphrasing here, pretty much perfect. But it's supposed to be an all-in-one solution when it's finally released, which will probably be pretty soon, within a few months, if I had to guess. And believe me, if Andy said it, it will be true.

I don't claim to know anything about software or code, and that's because I really don't, but to think that a guy like Andy Jenkins (who consistently makes millions of dollars on his products) is ripping off code and illegally using it.......probably not. I'd bet the farm on it anyways.

        Bottom line here :

I think before you go making wild accusations about someone's business ethics and character, you should have some kind of proof first.

I have no affiliation with Andy Jenkins, other that I am a Video Boss member and now loyal fan of his, but when he comes out with another product...... BUY IT. Thank me later.

Sorry for the rant, but this is just my take on this.

The code for Good Karma has nothing at all to do with Kajabi. They are owned by two seperate people and neither has anything to do with the other.

Kajabi code hasn't been seen by anyone outside of those directly involved with it at this point so there is no point in making guesses, regardless of how educated they may be.

Yes, I got this offer as well...

In his email, Andy revealed some more info about "Kajabi"

From one place, Kajabi lets you:
Create - Marketing Landing Pages, Squeeze Pages, Video Engagement Pages, Product Information Pages, Sales Letters, and much more - All from a flexible WYSIWYG Online Editor. No Coding Required (But welcome for extreme flexibility)

Promote - Using Cloud Computing Technology, you can publish anything you create with Kajabi instantly to the web - with theoretically infinitely scalable virtual hardware resources.

Sell - Use Kajabi's integrated shopping cart engine, or plug in your current solution so your customers experience is consistent and friendly.

Publish and Protect - Using Kajabi's Membership Module, you can deliver rich multi-media content and community interactivity, all while protecting your content from unauthorized access. Installation is easy because... there is NO installation - it's all part of the package.
Looks like a all-in-one marketing solution...

I wonder how much would it cost (i.e. without buying the LC course).

I mean, is there any "magic" running on the background that I am not aware off? because I've been running these pre-programmed launches for like a year using Wordpress+Amember without a problem.

    For the record, dear friends:

    1. Kajabi is a completely new, engineered from the ground up Ruby on Rails Cloud Hosted application. I've never heard of "SocialEngine Code", making it a 100% safe bet that Kajabi is not a rip off of anything, or using anything illegally. Period.

    2. It's not Wordpress either. See above.

    3. Frank did launch List Control on Kajabi because he adored how smooth the Video Boss launch on Kajabi went. Thus far, Frank's comment about Kajabi has been "God's Gift to Internet Marketing".

    4. I own Kajabi. I have 2 partners as well, but they're not "In the business". You don't know them. Yet.

Also, are you a member of Video Boss? I am just curious how you are able to look at the actual source code of Kajabi and prove that it is a part of Social Engine code.

I looked at the site and it looks a bit different as for structure. To me Kajabi doesn't look as complex as social code... Plus it is Ruby on Rails

What Jarret is referring to is the "Good Karma List Machine" software that Frank gave away during his LC launch, not the Kajabi platform.

Clearly, one person is talking about the code from Good Karma List Machine - which I do NOT have any stake in, and did NOT develop.

The others are talking about Kajabi, which is the platform used to launch and deliver List Control and Video Boss (and another launch coming in a few weeks).

Jminkler, I think you MUST be talking about Good Karma List Machine, because to date, ZERO source code from Kajabi has been exposed, and will not be exposed unless it's in the form of a SDK.

Be of good cheer and verify that you are talking about Good Karma List Machine so you do not continue to make baseless statements about code you have not seen. Perhaps this is all just semantics.

Then we can all smile, shake virtual hands, and go on about our business.

And having done some very quick research into this "Drama", it appears that some code that was used for GKLM was under GPL. Finally, ANY code that was used for GKLM was used by a 3rd party Contract-Developer - not Frank Kern, as we ALL know that Frank has difficulty with iTunes, let alone Information Technology.

This all smells like a witch hunt. Maybe it's just me.

Thanks Andy for Clearing this up, I started this post in good intentions because of pure enjoyment of the Kajabi platform. I did not know it would take a course to turn into a "Big Drama Broadway Play"
Once again, Thanks! Maybe this thread can finally be closed!!

I really wish I had access to Kajabi. I know that some of what I'm currently doing is very similar but unitl Kajabi launches I'll just have to hope I have enough to maintain a decent USP. lol

I guess everyone knows now that the next big Kajabi launch Andy mentioned previously is currently Jeff Walkers Product Launch Formula.

I wonder if Andy could chime in here, please and por favor senor, and let us know if Kajabi will work for something like Ryan Deiss's Perpetual Launch Formula because thats they way I'll be doing my launch in about 6 weeks.

I am eagerly waiting for Kajabi to release asap because it probably removes the headaches of designing and setting up your sales landing page almost completely.

BTW, I am the biggest Andy Jenkins fan and I am looking to promote Kajabi.

Would appreciate if you Andy could tell us if you're going to have an affiliate program for this one?
