Video Editing Softwares that Pros Use For BG Animations?!

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what software is used for editing videos, for either white blanking the background or adding some animation background..

For example:

Some of Frank's videos, like the 4 day cash machine giveaway video (white blank bg). Also, one video Mike Filsaime did (nice blue animation bg) for one of his micro continuity products.

Any clues?

    Google "green screen" or "chroma key" and you can learn the technique for knocking out the background from your videos. I use Final Cut Pro for Mac, but you can use Avid for PC and I think Adobe Premier works on either platform.

    I don't know if the freebie software (imovie or the PC one, movie maker?) has that chroma key capability or not.

    Then you just put the video of you over a cool (or blank) background that you purchased. istockphoto dot com has video clips like that you can buy for about $25.
