How to Pay Higher Commissions for JV Partners in Clickbank

Clickbank has a few limitations.

One of them is the fact you can only set one commission rate for one vendor account. So, if the default affiliate commission is 50%, any additional products you create under that account inherit the 50% rate.

So what happens if you want to reward certain JV partners with higher commission rates?

From what I've read, you need to create a 2nd account (at a discounted rate of $29.95) to handle a higher commission level.

My first thought was, "that's crazy...why should I buy 2 accounts for each product I'm promoting?"

Then I realized there may be an alternate solution.

Create all of your product accounts....and create one secret master JV Partner account.

Let me explain...

First, create your standard 50% commission account. This is the main account. Keep creating all the extra accounts you need to accommodate all the products in your portfolio. Each one gets displayed in the Clickbank Marketplace.

Next, create one single vendor account that will house all the exact same products...but with a higher commission level for JV Partners.

You'll be left with the following:

http://AFFILIATE.PRODUCT1.hop.clickbank.net (50% Commission)
http://AFFILIATE.PRODUCT2.hop.clickbank.net (50% Commission)
http://AFFILIATE.PRODUCT3.hop.clickbank.net (50% Commission)

http://AFFILIATE.JVPARTNERS.hop.clickbank.net (75% Commission)

All your front-facing normal sites get the 50% commission....and the 75% commission link remains a secret for your very best affiliates.

Naturally, there are solutions like EasyClickMate. But having each product listed across the Clickbank Marketplace and various other sites like CBEngine is an attractive feature for many.

Most JV partnerships are maintained via email or JV Blogs when launching products. The link can be shared privately on these forums and then pulled offline once the product is in post-launch.

I don't understand how that answers the question about having a JV link for each product.

Isn't that when you DO need a script like easyClickMate (for the JV account) to provide the links ?
