Newbie Question on Domain Redirecting and Affiliate
Hey guys,
I'm very new to IM, so excuse the n00bness and misuse of terms. I really need some critiquing though.
I'm working with a network marketing company, and I'm only working on marketing products for now. So anything about team-building is not what I'm asking about here.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to market. I have an Affiliate page with the company which has some information and an online store, and what I've done is redirected my domain to this affiliate page.
The barebones intention to start is to create:
1-A capture page with opt-in at "mydomain.com/info"
2-A back-end page with additional information.
3-Link to "mydomain.com" which redirects to the affiliate ID
Is there anything wrong with this picture? I know some people say that redirecting the domain to an affiliate ID is a wrong move. Should I have "mydomain.com" be the capture page? What would be ideal?
