How Do You Make A Adobe pdf SEO Friendly For Document Sharing Sites

I'm trying to rank for a particular keyword in the serps & I'm
going to use document sharing Sites like docstoc.

When I create a pdf document whats the best keyword density
and do I need to make the keyword phrase hyperlinks, put quotes
around it or just leave it like a regular phrase in the pdf.

I've heard having 3-5 KW density per page is the ideal number. Also, if you have control over it, name your PDF in accordance with your KW as well. Example: cell-phone-lookup.pdf

Another tip: Put a page footer heading in your PDF and double use your KW. Eg: Cell Phone Tracing: Trace Cell Phones now

Will it still rank without making it hyperlinked or making it anchor text that's blue.
or do I need to put quotes around the keyword or just leave it naturally in the pdf.

Well several things are involved in ranking. One is simply having the keywords. Other things like page titles, hyperlinking, sentence structure starting with keywords, things like that help.

I plan on using 3-5 keywords per page do I need to put quotes around
the phrase in the pdf doc to make it a phrase, hyperlink it with anchor text
or just leave it naturally like it is.
