Please Help Me Develop A Name

Hi Warriors,

I am building a coaching site, however instead of the normal business coaching style (which I also do) this site and it's coaching is centered around actual implementation of strategies, mindset etc to achieve real results. I will bring in marketing strategies where needed.

However, I'm stuck on a name, both for the actual coaching program and also a url.

At the moment I've started using an old url I've had for a few years - "instantbusinesssolutions.com"

Any and all ideas will be most welcomed

    I may not give a perfect name, but here is a website that will give you a list of names, just type in the keywords you want.

        Anyway, Steve, Why don't you ask your potential customers what would "work" for them? Or come up with a couple ideas and run a split test on Google ads to see which pulls a better response? Alternatively, you can do the same with the smaller PC search engines for much less PPC.

        Thanks for the suggestion Paul - will do. Just on that site. After trying about 5 different keywords, it took me to a page selling landing page templates.

    Just wondering if implementation of strategies, mindset etc are the things you do for your new coaching site what type of business coaching did you do for the old one?

      Hi Kevin,

      In my old site I coached on marketing, recruitment, team training, financial management etc, but what I found constantly was nearly everyone had big blockages in moving forward, in fact most were scared of success, even though they wouldn't admit it at first.

      So usually I spent the first 3 or 4 months working on their mindsets before we got back to working on their businesses - then we got massive results.

    Business name (should be a "meme" - I've written on this
    topic often) is different from your URL.

    Chances are good your best and most appropriate memes
    are already taken as DotComs.

    What you need then, is two (2) memes - 1 to identify where
    to find you (your URL) the other which identifies your core
    mission (your business name embedded in what we advertising
    guys call a "strapline").

    Sorry man, but that domain name is terrible for a product.

    It's more important to have a catchy memorable domain name than something generic like that.

      How about building your own name as a brand?
      Did you think of that?

      I am more likely to buy from Steve Baker- The Action Coach than some fancy hyped up name, like Actionator(From Terminator ) but that's just me..
