Find Glen Livingstone's website and get on his list.

He's one of the best AdWords teachers out there.

In my opinion, he's surpassed his mentor, the great Perry Marshall.

You need to know your first test isn't going to make you much if anything.

You need to know the market, what they want, who they are etc....

You should probably grab perry marshal's book and maybe even PPC Ninja (I'm biased though, i've met Christian and he's honest ppl).

You might wanna brush up on all forms of tracking so you can glean the maximum amount of data from your testing and know what really worked and what didn't work.

Well, the first thing is to educate yourself as much as you can about PPC, there is two ways to do this. Either throw experience or revolution.

    Experience doing all yourself

    Revolution learning from a mentor

So first decide how you want to learn how to do PPC, Then decide if you have a budget for PPC. However, with all that being said, I will give you a brief tutorial want I know about PPC.

    The important things:

    1. Commercial Intend Keywords Only (if your planning on selling stuff)
    2. Send them to Squeeze Pages and BUILD A LIST
    3. Don't Set up an Ad Group W/ more then 10 keywords (Small Targeted AdGroups)
    4. You MUSH have some type of Tracking (You Have to Know what is Working)
    5. Set a Budget and Stick to it
    6. The MOST important Factor in PPC is CTR
    7. Always keep the Visitors Mindset and mental state in mind
    8. Use this Formula:

The Ad Copy Sells the Click
The Landing Page Sells the Dream (the end result)
The Follow Ups Sell the Products

    9. Use Position Preference
    10. Don't freak out if you see a lot of money being spent, and no results (ROI) coming in. All that means is you need to perfect the campaign some more.

I hope that helps, the best thing you can do is model what is working and get a good mentor.
