Starting from scratch now that........

........I have time to try running my own website. I need to have a few opinions on who to register a domain name with and also, find a good webhost. I need a webhost that will allow me to upload a Dreamweaver-built site. I'd really like to know of a host that someone has actually used for at least a year and can give me a first-hand review

    I use NameCheap.com as they are cheap and very reliable, i have about 40 domains with them. Im not sure about a good web host as i only buy dedicated servers and host my own web sites but my brother uses ukhost4u.com which is pretty good.

      I've always used namecheap.com to get my domains since I heard that GoDaddy seized one of Mike Filsaimes domains years ago. I've never had a problem with them and they are fairly priced.

      As for hosting, I've had my sites hosted at Hostgator for over a year now, and I would recommend them. I can host unlimited (I think) domains for just $10/month and they have a great cpanel and all that good stuff. There's been whole threads about hosting before, and I know Hostgator always gets a ton of thumbs ups.
