CJ's not tracking sales - should I DUMP them?

I have made 3 sales via people I know clicking on a link or banner ad for my GoDaddy affiliate program via CJ (Commission Junction).

Each time, CJ did NOT register the sale, and when I contacted GoDaddy, they indeed saw the sale, then manually credited me for that sale.

However, when I do speaking engagements, I send people to that affiliate link, so for all I know, there have been other sales and I've NOT been credited because somehow "magically" CJ doesn't track the sale.

The 3 sales via people I know - I checked their browsers, cookies are enabled, etc., so it's not that.

Also, I personally signed up someone via my affiliate link after checking the browser, and CJ "magically" had no record of that sale either!

I can't imagine keeping any affiliate program through CJ.

Why promote affiliate links that "magically" don't get tracked?

When I contact CJ, they give me some "reasonable" scenarios - like cookies weren't enabled or the person left the confirmation page too soon - however, that does not hold water especially when I've run a sale myself and it still wasn't tracked.

What you think?

Is CJ not tracking your sales too?

Thanks for your input.

Best,
David

Just don't log in for a period of time and they will dump you automatically.

I've had pretty good experience with CJ.

I haven't done anything with GoDaddy, but have had lots of sales tracked for other merchants in the past few years.
