My Country - Azerbaijan is Not Listed in Clickbank - What to Do?

Hi,

I want to become a Clickbank affiliate and vendor, but my country Azerbaijan is not in their list. Recently Clickbank added new coutnries and all neighbours inlcuded in this change, but Azerbaijan did not.

I don't have any friend outside to get checks instead of me and send me. I need another way.

So, what do you recommend? Let me please know your creative solutions.

Thanks

Nigeria? No, We are in Europe (Nigeria is in Africa). But probabaly, they had problems with the country in the past. But I don't believe this either, as neighbor countries all entered in new changes.

I asked them in the past. Asnwer was: there is no exception for this rule.

Just what is it that "appears" schemish about him? You have a secret ability that most of us lack to see that in people? I see nothing that would indicate a schemer....

Comments like that do YOU more harm....

Carry-on Orikis...Hope you find a solution to your problem.

        Thanks Ken,

Agree with you. Schemers are in every country. And no one can be called like this for his (her) country.

You can try a company that will setup a US address for
you, and they'll forward mail to you in your country.

Mail Forwarding and US Address Solution from US Global Mail, International Mail Forwarding

I searched google for "get a us address"

You can try that your self and see what you find. But do
your homework carefully. I'm not familiar with any of these
    businesses.

Hope that helps and good luck.

Ken, thanks for your time. But I am a bit confused. Lets say, 1- I get US Address and check comes to that US address. 2- After this they send check to my country. 3- When I give check to my bank, will Clickbank allow to pay my payment to Azerbaijan Bank?

Right. Didn't think of that. But Kunle's suggestion may solve all the
        problems. I don't know.

It may be possible to get a Latvian address, and you can use that
with CB. You can do the banking there and just use your debit card
        at home.

Worth looking into and best of good luck. You'll find a way to resolve
        all of these issues.

Wow.... You never heard of Azerbaijan Republic? Can't believe.

      Just some facts.

Azerbaijan took the third place in Eurovision Song Contest after Norway and Iseland.

It is one of 5 most important geopolitic counties in the world according to Bjesinski - world famous political expert.

The first country in the world that produced oil.

One of the top oil producers in the world now. We are oil rich country and so on.

Hmmm... friend, you don't watch tv & read books and only focus on your online business- that is the only reason.

If it wasn't for the girl I dated from Azerbijan, I would never have heard of it either and she first told me she was from Turkey. The new countries that fromed after the breakup of the Soviet Union just aren't that well known.

You're just outside the top 20 oil producing countries.

Hey, remember the whole Viktor Kozeny incident? My girlfriend was his secretary at the time. He wanted her dead. She knew waaaaaay too much.

Anyway, remember how I said she said she was from Turkey?
Can you get a Turkish address?

          Thanks friend.

I am not talking about ancient hsitory of oil. I talk about the the first industrial producement of oil in 1848 which after that the first modern oli refinry was founded in Baku. Those times we were within Russian Empire, so all money went to Russia.

Yes, we are outside of 20 top countries, but very close to the oil produced each day.

Hmmm... i heard Eurovision was watched by 3 billion people. 1 of 2

Ok, you are right, Why I have not thought about it before. Turkey is our brother country. It is very close to Azerbaijan. We speak same language, so it can be easy for me probably. I will think about it. But i have to get address there and must get agreement with the bank.

Viktor Kozeny incident? Who is that person?

Yes Im serious and to be honest I bet 90% of the people here havent heard of your country either

Most Americans can barely find well know country's on a map (well according to the media anyway) let alone your country which sorry to say isnt well known at all... no offense. Im sure its a nice place...

No problem bro. As you said, Americans don't know the countries on the map, so it is normal. But now, you know it at least

What I know, if you want to be famous country, you must succeed in football championships. We play weak, so I understand everyone.

Anyway, I still look for answers for Clickbank issue.

SARAH PALIN is here again ..

I don't know, but do we have to blame Geography teachers?

About Azerbaijan and oil producing and exporting..
the best phrase is to say that Azerbaijan is an oil rich country.. not oil exporting or producing country.. Yes they began to produce and export oil but just in late recent years..

      My question to Orikus,
Why just Clickbank? there are many affiliate companies who pay you via paypal account or western union or other payment methods.

Another option: You don't have any friends living in USA? They can help you with their addresses

Haha. Sarah Palin mentioned the pipeline going from Baku BTC and talked about the security of BTC an how to prevent it from Russian attacks. So, love Sarah Palin.

Azerbaijan is producing oil 150 years. it was the number 1 oil producing country in the world 1898-1900 (50% of the world and more than US). Until 1990 everything was ok, but After collapse of USSR our oil system collapsed, was no investment. Only in 2001, we coul restart oil exporting. Like president of BP said, Baku (capital) returns to the World Oil Politics.

Paypal? The tragedy is that we can only send via Paypal, not accept it. I would join Paydotcom, but for thyis reason there is still problem. I joined some programs and I make normal affiliate money and checks, but honestly they are not have the same qulaity as Clickbank products.

        No, friend in US, sadly.

@Ernie Azerbaijan is quite well known and in eastern europe (former USSR from what I understand--I lived in Russia between 1997 and 2001 so I heard about that country a lot

@sudysharma why does everyone have to be a potential scammer, no less from Nigeria? I'm from Nigeria and don't particularly like seeing such prejudiced posts especially when totally unrelated to the OP... In case you didn't know this, not all emails that claim they come from Nigeria are actually sent from Nigeria or by Nigerians (that's a "trick" you can easily pull on the web) Anyway, no hard feelings just a little bruised ego, I'll get over it

As to the OP... i.e. @orikus ... You're bold AND smart to come out and ask this because frankly I doubt CB will bother to give you any other answer than what you already got from them... What Ken suggested might work. But as you rightly pointed out the banks in YOUR country may not be able to cash the checks for you, this is a "problem" with your banking system and nothing to do with CB. I experienced the same in Russia for years and also other locations I've done IM from except for when I lived in England (though even in England in those days getting a CB checked cleared was not a stroll in the park unless you used Barclays bank I think it was)...

What I'm saying is this is a challenge you will face for a few years or forever until your country allows for checks from the USA to be cleared easily (I don't think CB has any say in the matter).

Also, I might be able to find some ideas you can use from my long lost travel history for getting USA payments easily in eastern europe, I'm not sure but I think you can try to set up an offshore account in Latvia (closer to home for you and 100% above board, I used a bank there for many years sucessfully to get a Debit card and account and last I checked they were only getting stronger).

Maybe you can get an account with them and have your checks sent to them to be cleared and then you can use the Debit Card they give you to get your money at home (hopefully that is an option).

There will be ways out of this dilemma though may be not so easy but definitely legal and doable. If you want the name of the bank I used in Latvia PM me.

    Wish you good luck,

    Kunle

Thanks Kunle for great words and advices.

Our banks accepts check payments from US banks, as I got several checks from Google, paid them to bank and they could give me money for that. What I am a bit worried is: if Clickbank see that the check was sent to US bank from Azerbaijan bank (from the country they don't allow) will they pay the money or not?

You're welcome man. Based on what you've said you shouldn't have any problem cashing your check. I can't give you a definite answer to your last question cos I never tried that. As Ken said, if Latvia is on CB's list, it may be easier for you to go that route instead of having a US address and having the checks land in your country. I'd suggest you set up with Latvia, have the checks sent there and cashed there (by the Latvian bank if they will agree to do this for you), then they will pay instantly into your Debit Card which you can then withdraw at home. You just have to find out if THAT is doable too...

        Cheers

Affiliate Networks are very careful with how they chose their publishers. Most of the time to apply you need to give bank info, ssn# and do a telephone interview. I would suggest trying to cal and explain exactly how you plan to run their offers...if your country isn't accepted, it means they have had problems in the past. Your only hope is to convince them you are going to be legitimate with their offers.

Oh don't worry about the other people. I don't watch Eurovision although I have heard of it. It has a sad following in Australia. lol But I don't think anyone watches Eurovision in Malaysia, where I am currently residing. Despite that, I too have heard of Azebaijan - and not because of the oil industry. But maybe that's cos I love geography. Maybe Clickbank doesn't service Azerbaijan because it's not considered a major country? I'm not sure. Perhaps you could try getting a forwarded US mailing address like someone above suggested?

    Orkhan,

As someone mentioned above you could try setting up a Turkish company or using a Turkish office address and then getting the cheques forwarded to you.

Please keep in mind I haven't used these companies so you will need to do your own checks on them if you decide to use them. If you want to set up a Turkish business here's a company that offer that service:

    http://www.tiryakioglupartners.com

And if you're looking for someone to set up an office/mail forwarding service you could try:

    Smart Office - Maslak Istanbul

    I hope that helps you.
