Who Or What Murdered All My Hops?

Over the last couple of days my number of hops on Clickbank has fallen from 400-500 a day to literally 100-150. My articles on EZA, Buzzle and Articlesbase are still alive. My squidoo lenses and hub pages are still going strong. My blogs are still around.

Has anything major changed on Google in the last couple of days that may have caused this? Or is it more likely something to do with CB not correctly tracking itself

Anyone else seeing anything similar happening on their account?

Regards,
Sam

Wierd.....same thing happening to me. I know variations occur, but these are the biggest variations I've seen for months since I started with clickbank.

I've been averaging 15-25 hops per day for several months.....but yesterday only had 4, and Friday had 8.

Sometimes your competitor does something better and his article may outrank yours in the serps. This has happened to me a few times.

Keep submitting more articles and social bookmarkings..

I think the spring might be the killer here.

People tend to stay more outside when the sun and heat is returning. I have been out taking walks and drinking beer the entire week.

        This just in.

400 hops killed each day the last week due to excessive intake of outside beers!

I noticed something fishy with CB lately as well.I used to make much more than i'm making right now.I don't know what happened. The traffic amount is the same and sales dropped more than a half.

The sad thing, you should be telling us why...

You should be using unique Traffic ID's for each of your market strategies on Clickbank, so you can see which one quit sending traffic.

You should be using Google Analytics, or other analysis software to track where visitors come from on your blogs.

You need to know where each of your articles, blogs, and other content rank for the keywords you are targeting. So you know if you have dropped on the search engines, and new competition is now above you.

You need to KNOW what portion of your business quit working because you are tracking it.

Only by tracking, testing, and knowing, can you make adjustments, and fix issues.

No one can really answer your question for you, only you can do that by proper tracking and testing.

Since you cannot go back in history, start implementing these items today, so you can build your rankings, know the facts, and react properly when you see changes begin to occur.

    Good Luck,

    Barry
