I am new to article marketing. Once I submit to ezinearticles, are there other services that distribute your articles to the internet, if so, what do you use? Thanks in advance!!

Try goarticles...and the hubpages...and then lots more. Keep studying the business too and you'll see there are hundreds of articles directories. Many products being sold to IMers are about sending articles to all of them automatically, but you can do it manually too.

And don't forget to write more and better articles.

I can't link due to a low post count at the moment but here's a good resource within the forum:

Fabian1 posted in the adsence/PPC forum a thread entitled List of Top Article Directories (Do Follow)

    Hope this helps!

You could also go to Article Post Robot's sales page and click on the link with the list of article directories.

    TomG.

PS - You can also go to iSnare and get the articles distributed widely for $2 or so each.

If your article is at least 450 words, I'd submit it to the Free Traffic System too. (It's free to join.)

      Couple more tools:

ASH--Article Submitter Helper--free, does about 300 or so directories

      UAW--Unique Article Wizard--something like $67 a month--but does more than just submit

MAR/MAS--Magic Article Rewriter/Magic Article Submitter--costs something between these extremes.

      And there are more.

On another issue, it was wise to give the good original one to Ezine first, as far as strategy is concerned. You can find lots of advice on all of these matters if you keep looking, but it's also important to keep doing, as well as looking at how. Bon courage.

I have used Article Marketer services and I am very happy with the result. It is quite expensive but if you have decided to do article marketing on regular bases than it is well worth the money. If you have only one or two article to submit then use Isnare as with them you can pay per article not monthly or quarterly subscriptions

Is your goal to increase links to a site, get more readers to your articles, get articles in to top 10 search results?

All of these things are ways to get traffic and sales etc but your next move is really determined by what your goals are.

I may mass submit if I want to build links to something but if you want eyeballs reading your articles then that may not be what you want to do right now. More isn't always better.

    What's the short term goal?

Really I am hoping to do two things. I hope they read the article, and then sign up for my free ebook so I can build my list. Backlinks wouldn't hurt, either, because I only have a few.

Ok, that is what you should do:

Submit your articles to many article directories using Content Crooner Or Submit Your Articles.

After submitting your articles they will give you a article directory list where your article has been submitted, and it can be up to 6-7 hundred directories.

From that list choose 20- 30 article directories or more if you have more time in your hands.

Choose higher page rank and niche article directories that are relevant to your niche.

Then go to each one of these directories you have singled out and sign up to your account. Then fully edit your profile and upload your logo or a picture. Change your article title slightly in each directory but keep it still catchy and relevant to your article. Slightly editing the article on most article directories it will also pop it back to the front page.

Then submit the article to social bookmarking sites, more than better. Lot of article directories have a button for that like add this or share this, that makes it easy to do so.

When you go to article directories and you want to sign in to your account you need a password. As your account has been setup by submission services then you just use the email you have listed with the submission services and use the Forget your password button and the article directory will send you the password to your email account.

That will not work with Isnare as they are not using your real email address, so you have to contact the article directory admin to get the password for your account.

So once you have done all of the above, about in two to three weeks time you should have about 300-500 new one way backlinks to your site and the articles you promoted should also give you some direct clicks as well.

I might be missing something... are you trying to market/advertise your website url in all these articles?

My best bet would do some PPV or PPC to achieve this.

All that will go to Authors resource box. To make most use of the authors resource box you should read some tutorials how to write a good resource box text as that is very vital for getting people to click to your link.

I use AAS (automatic article submitter) but I tie it into my blog and video marketing.

My suggestion if you want to work for free...just submit submit submit. Push out as many quality articles as you can. Don't stop. Dedicate yourself to at least 2-3 new articles a day.

That is where the magic starts to happen.

        Jeff Mitchell

P.s there is a great strategy in my sig line. Enjoy it.

yes there are many directories (hundreds of them), i myself started a submission service in case you are interested

The big players are ezine articles, goarticles, articlesbase...but it is good to distribute your articles to many more simply for building backlinks and getting more exposure.

A good strategy is actually to have an article on ezine..and then strenghten the ezine article with backlinking to the eza article from the other article sites.

    OK,

I would just like to ask the article marketer gurus if reposting oif your articles really helps compared to writing new articles and just posting them to the big boys.

I can measure traffic but backlinks and thier effectiveness are much harder to understand and quantify.

Is syndication of articles just a time sink for little reward or is it actually essential?

There are tons of great article directory sites. Make sure to check out their quality though, because it would always be nice to use one that's reputable.

After submitting to the articles directories:
    1) Create a video article and submit to video sharing sites, eg YouTube
    2) Create a doc/pdf and submit to doc sharing sites, eg Scribd

Continue to pump out more content while distributing your articles. While one nicely written article that is unique, different and packed with value could get a nice run with syndication, the more quality content you have out there, the better.

Before submitting your article to the article directories like EZA, post it on your website first and wait for it to be indexed by the search engines.

Posting your content on your website first will help building YOUR page rank and not that of the article directory.
