i know that there are many sides to this topic but should i submit all 500 articles at once or distribute them over time to EZA?

Which is more effective and why would that be so? and do articles have a certain period of time after which they dont get read?

    over time.

Steady traffic - steady link building - if your content is quality, there will be other high PR sites posting your article on their site and they will keep an eye on RSS feed.

Tested both ways, slower works better.

Over time to EZA is your best bet.

  • This is one that's definitely best done over time.

You don't say if these are all in the same niche. If they are, I'd strongly suggest diversifying. Don't use all the articles for ezine. Look at other Web 2.0 properties such as Squidoo, and also use some of these for direct content on your own site.

    Watch ya there

I honestly believe its best if you were submit your articles overtime.
The main reason is that you can see what sort of articles your submitting are getting the most views. Then you can start to learn what is working and what doesn't, which allows you to tweak you other articles.
