Hi everyone, after days of working on my website from building the layout from scratch to writing my own unique articles and finally to optimize for the search engines.

I've finally finished the hardest parts.

The link is in my sig

I just wanna take this time out to thank all those who have gave me support by offering tips and encouragement especially when at one point I felt that I was just wasting time.

I know now I'm left with directing traffic and bringing up my site.

I have a plan set already, please review and advise accordingly, Thanks!

1) Submit my website to all the search engines
2) Submit my website to web directories
3) Submit 1 or 2 articles to article directories for backlinks
4) Further optimize my keywords and such.

Just a question, I've seen some websites that claim they can help you submit your website to all the search engines, do they work?

I launched a new site a couple of weeks ago, and it's already ranking on page #2 of Google on some pretty competitive search terms, and I didn't submit the site to any search engines or web directories.

All I've done is build backlinks and write articles.

If you build a lot of high-qulity backlinks the search engines will find you, don't worry. And I think your time will be better spent creating content for your site and linking back to it in as many places as possible.

    Hello Jayyamada,

There's no need to submit to search engines, search engines will find your website by themselves.

As the above poster said, just get building GOOD QUALITY backlinks, don't just build any crap links, and soon you'll start ranking and gaining traffic.

    regards,

    Veylo.

Good stuff on your site. I like it. I've seen you are using adsense + content to generate money ... this means using PPC is probably not the best way to go here as you may overspend. Your best bet is definitely to go organic. Have you tried cross-links with other sites in your niche and do some JV? If your advice is sound, you might want to establish yourself as an authority in that particular market?
