PayPal problem, please advise

Hello to all good people on Warrior Forum!

I become a member of WF few days ago as I finally decided to direct my carrier IM route. I guess that I made my first huge step towards succes in IM by discovering this forum and becoming its member.

However, on my second step I'm facing the big obstacle. Being from Serbia, I'm unable to open PayPal account

I searched the forum and found that one of my countrymen already talked about it and got the answer that he should get US addres via mailforwarding service.

Ok. It will give me an US adress, but i still wouldn't be able to connect account created using virtual address with my credit card, as addres that is conected to CC is still Serbian...

Could I use some Virtual Credit Card service such as Pegcard or something similar?

Will it connect to PayPal?

Does anyone has experience with that, or can recommend me some reliable service of such type?

Would it violate PayPal policy in some way?
Is it OK to do that?

Excuse me for long post and lot of questions, but I really don't want to mess things up from the start, and thanks in advance for your help.

P.S.
I really need a PayPal as I want to enroll in one of the programmes offered in WSO that starts day after tomorrow.

Maybe you will get banned like i did once, and they will ask you for copy of passport drive licenses etc. a lot of pain with that paypal, i now that
Maybe you should try to make some partnership with someone who can open paypal for you.
    Good luck any way.

@Marko V. - Heh, sure I will, but as a noob I still don't have smart questions to askk and I try to spare you of stupid ones. Thanks again!

@TheKeys - I kinda felt it wasn't right way, but it's really hard to accept that you just can't do what other people normally can, just becouse you have wrong passport. And it lasts 20 years by now. I'll go for plan B. Thanks for the answer!

Yeah that would be your best bet. Make sure you always have an affiliate program set up so that you can set the commissions to 50% and your partner can have his link and get his 50% (or whatever you guys have agreed to share)

That's not the point - Serbia is not accepted by paypal. You may be able to lie your way into getting a paypal account but your account and all the money in it will be at risk at all times.

Paypal frequently asks for proof of residence such as a utility bill - and if you can't provide what they ask for your account will be frozen for months and then closed.

Offering to partner with someone you know nothing about or allowing someone to access your paypal account is a very foolish thing to do.
There are other payment options available in countries where paypal is not an option.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

The cheating and lying you are advising here are much harder than simply conducting business with other sites ethically.

What you are doing is telling members here you aren't someone who can be trusted to do business ethically.

I think it's hilarious that YOU are saying paypal is unethical.

@xxessexx - Using your richly developed skills for such a mundane task as opening PayPal account would be a straightforward blasphemy. However, i'll remember to PM you if i ever get a "criminal at large" status, as I'm sure that following your advices no one would ever find me. Cheers

I really appreciate the time you invested in your step-by-step instructions, but i have to save it to the plan C, as otherwise my country would be excluded from everything forever. I admit that I asked what you are telling me, but I tought it wouldn't involve so much false play. Sorry.

Thanks again to everybody, my question is answered, and I'm presented with more options than i taught. I'd go with the force.

@Kay King - Thanks again for wise words.

              Regards,

@shabit87 - thanks for the advice!

@l23bc - Thanks for your offer, but I really had that in mind as plan B and I already have a cousin in US that is willing to share his account with me. I just wanted to make it less complicated, as sharing a PayPal account would require extra care.

@xxessexx - It's very kind of You! If my cousin refuse a partnership, I'll let you know and I'll ask you for that. In order to return you a favour I'll tell you that your signature doesn't work. Correct it

If I were you I'd think of another way apart from Paypal. Paypal freezes the accounts with some reason especially outside US sellers. (Yes I have read your P.S note) still same advice

@Kay King - Thanks man, i guess you summed up everything just right.

@xessex -Thanks for a lot of advices, but i guess it will put me on a dark side, and that is i just wanted to avoid.

Now i can see that my question was a confusing (and pretty stupid) one in a first place as I basicaly asked how to cheat without cheating. Personally I'm not against the "cheating the government and big corporations" but it really shouldn't mark my first step in a new carrier path. Fix your signature link gal

If you manage to lie your way into a PayPal account, how are you ever going to get your money out of it. You either need to download it to a bank, or get a PayPal debit card or have then send you a check. The second and third of those items would get you in one hell of a jam unless you have an address in a country they approve. And unless you have a bank you can access, how are you going to get the money even if you can open up an overseas bank.

These are not insurmountable issues, especially opening up an overseas bank account. But they are serious issues that you need to have answers to before you embark on this. PayPal has locked up too many accounts for piddly reasons, or even not reason. They decide to investigate your account because they got nothing else to do, and they take all of your money and lock it up for six months. They have pulled that scam on thousands of people.

I had my account locked up many years ago, and it took me a month to find out why. It was a real hassle, and I had to send them paperwork to prove I was me and that I did live where I said I did. Why they wanted that, I still can't understand. I was the one that got ripped off and filed the dispute.

Anyway, think hard and long about this before you get taken advantage of by PayPal. Doesn't Google have a payment system that you could use?

^ Yep. There are many systems that I could use, and I do it all the time for buying domains and hosting. Basically i could have paid anything with CC and MoneyBookers account or simply find another service provider if it's PP only, but...

I saw that offer on WSO and just felt that must not let it go.

And of course it only accepts PayPal
To be even worse, only requirement for enrolling that programme is to be in a posession of PayPal account.

I'm just beginning with all this IM stuff and, this is more about not quiting after the first obstacle than about looking for a good way to do a money transfers online..

      Thanks!

They make mistakes on occasion - but it is NOT a scam to shut down someone who has lied their way into a paypal account that violates the terms.

The reason they do check address is because of people who lie and intentionally violate the terms they agree to.

Let's be honest about it - this type of account is just asking to be frozen.

@xxessexx - Huh I really didn't wanted to be mean or to offend you. I tried to tell you a few times that in the course of conversation I realized that I'll just ask my cousin to open account for me. You just type too fast!

It's obvious that you are intelligent person, and it's true that you were just answering the question. I apologize.

i personally wouldn't reccomend paypal, look at other options. Paypal is known for freezing accounts and know several people including myself who had major money tied up for long time a few years ago
