Do you use 2 autoresponders at the same time?

Hi

I noticed recently that some marketers are using 2 different autoresponders for different lists. Is anyone here doing that? Sometimes when I think about all the uncertainty, it's better not to put all your eggs in 1 basket. Personally I'm thinking to do that... to use 2 autoresponders. Any experience and advice on this?

Usually marketers develop different lists based on what they are going to offer to the list.

Ex: If you want to develop a list to promote one of your affiliate product, you need one list. To promote your product you need another list.

So developing different lists is very good strategy that increases the responsiveness from subscribers.

  • I think they are simply testing which one has higher deliverability rates, etc... It's mainly 'testing'...

you can do multiple campaigns with one autoresponder. It's always good to eventually start filtering leads into different autoresponders and products/services

Yup I agree, you want to always be testing and see what it is that you can do to make sure that you have the best possible conversion rates.

Well, I wasn't thinking about using 2 autoresponder so much as to see the conversion rates... I think conversion rate has more to do with the layout of your squeeze page, the type of traffic you get and the offer you have. I was thinking more along the line of in case should something happen to one of the autoresponder, you still have another list safe with another company. I've read news about things that happen to Aweber and Getresponse... that's where I'm coming from.

I have multiply different email campaigns and i actually use Aweber and Getresponse. I built my previous list with Getresponse and have now started integrating into Aweber because it rocks.

There are so many awesome features in aweber that I had to make the move.
