Yep - I feel good today #1 on Google!

I wrote an article and submitted to EZA about 1 week ago. I just typed in the long tail keyword to see what my competition is doing for this product and to my surprise my article is #1

Funny thing was I said to myself - "Okay let's see what this joker did to get #1". Not even realizing it was my own article.

LOL!

All I did was review a brand new product and figured out no one was actually marketing this sucker yet. Funny thing is that this product is really good.

Then I took my time to write an honest review and waited for EZA to do it's thing. I typed in the keyword using several different varitions and I'm still on the first page.

Nice way to end a hard days' work.

Andres

    Andres,

Congratulations on your accomplishment. I love AM success stories.

But don't make the mistake that I see 99% of all article marketers make and just leave it alone! Get out there and market the hell out of that article. Build backlinks to it, get it in your sigs, bookmark it, rewrite it and post as a knol and link to the article from there.

I hate to see when an article reaches #1 and then slowly fades away while the authors just let it happen!

Hi good work on your article being number #1 on google. My question is this article any where on your web site? If so are you marketing any others Article?

    Keep up the Good Work.

    Congrats Andres,

I would also suggest you leave it alone until it loses position. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

    Start working on other articles/reviews

Why suggest waiting until it loses ranking? When the position is lost, it's gonna be too late. There is a big chance you'll never see #1 again. At least that's what I have seen.

I am talking about article pages here...not websites.

But why listen to me? I'm just a doctor. <-- just a little Happy Gilmore humor. (or humour if you're across the pond)

since you're at the top spot, try to keep it there. I had a #3 spot for awhile then moved on to something else. now its deep into googleland somewhere.
congrats for the #1 spot though
