Why YouTube Marketing Rocks.

I've got a lot of videos floating around the internet, and I wanted to point out a few advantages of using YouTube over article marketing or any other "bum" method I guess that people may not have thought of.

1.) Rank sooo much easier. I have one video with 77 backlinks that is out ranking an article with hundreds of backlinks and some major authority sites. All because it's on YouTube. I'm not just #1 in Google, it's in multiple SE's.

2.) Headline testing. With YouTube I can readily change my video title any time I want and have it re-indexed within 24 hours. I can change and alter the title to see how well it works and there's no limit to how often or how much I do this. I've posted a video and it did OK with one title, then I switched it up and quickly increased organic click thru's 50%+ from what they were before.

3.) Thumbnails. Thumbnails stand out and get clicks. They attract visitors and eyes once the search results load up. People are immediately drawn to your thumbnail and that much more likely to click than another article title in a see of blue links and results.

Just a couple reasons I love using YouTube/video sharing sites to get traffic. It's really easy to use videos as "nodes" for traffic instead of just hard selling or reviewing a product, i.e. you don't NEED a complicated or beautiful video to do this.

    I agree!

Recently I have been working on a Video Marketing like I usually do my Article Marketing and I am seeing some awesome numbers!

What's more though, is the beauty of generating traffic from other videos that are popular or already ranked well via the "Related Videos" area! This is something you can piggyback on with a brand new video regardless of backlinks, views or however many times its been published! ; )

I concur! I'm shifting more and more into video marketing and spending less time on article marketing. It looks to be very good traffic, especially for growing an email list (hint hint).

At some point, I'll stop "testing" and just fully invest. The plan is to start outsourcing the article writing more and more and use my own time more for video creation and SEO'ing.

Did I mention that video traffic is pretty damn good for list building?

just starte converting my articles to videos myself. I am finding that doing a powerpoint slide with my subheadings as a bullet in the slide show works better than putting my ugly face on camera,.. and dont have to buy any fancy programs or equipment. I am using CamStudio, and they look fine...
