The Script used for List Control?

I know that Frank used kajabi for his launch but what I want to know is this ...

When you first went to the link you had to optin in order to get the video. When you revisited the site you did not have to optin again because you was already cookied in. UNLESS you happen to clear your cookies and then you would have to optin again...

For each video he had an optin form. If you was cookied in then you would be redirected straight to the video and not ever see the optin page.

What I want to know is if there is a script that does that exact same thing.

I'm launching a product soon and I really don't want to keep having them re-optin just to see the next video... know what I mean ;-)

hit me up here or on PM.

Thanks

    Kajabi managed all the cookie-opt-in-stuff

I don't know of another script that does the same thing (although Kajabi is coming on the market soon)

I found this one called fusionHQ.

It's a site that works like kajabi. I havent seen kajabi but I've read its similar.

I just thought there be some kind of code to insert or something.

        Any Ideas?

This is a standard feature of business-ready web toolkits. If the user arrives without a login cookie, or some other credential, they're shown the public page that includes a login prompt. If they submit a valid signup request - in Frank's case, when you enter an email address - then the "thanks for signing up" page is shown.

If the user arrives with a cookie or other credential, they're shown the version of the page for confirmed users. This can optionally be customized for the particular user.

Any experienced web developer should be able to find a template script that handles almost everything. Whatever language or toolkit the developer likes - ASP.Net, Ruby, php, Python, whatever - there's a free login system available. All that's needed is to customize it with the unique features for the particular project.

My guess is that kajabi will package all this with an easy to use administrative screen, suitable for development newbies.
