Is it Possible to Make Big $ with $7 Reports?

Or is it better to charge more and give commissions to affiliates or has inflation increased the price to $17 or even $27?

Anyone raking in the bucks with $7 reports?

One option is to give your affiliates 100% of the commission on an inexpensive report. They get the profits and you get the list. In other words, use the cheap report as a lead-generator, and create nice backend offers to make your money.

    Cheers,
    Becky

ETA: I've done what I'm suggesting here. I've used cheap reports to bring people into a sales funnel that sold $50 ebooks and $500 coaching programs. Worked well. Depending on how cheap the report was, I gave affiliates from 75% to 100% commissions.

You would probably make more money in the long run by giving the report away instead of charging $7.

        No and Yes - lol!

You probably are never going to be able to do enough volume selling these inexpensive items to make a lot of money - why ?? Overhead! See, most people forget this - look:

$7 sale less paypal/clickbank fee - now have maybe $5.50 or $6 - now you had to get the traffic somewhere so that has a cost or need to pay affiliate - by the time you are done maybe making $3 - $5 actual profit and most people will not be able to generate enough traffic to make even $60 or more per day.

Now - having said that here is why they may help - if you can use them to get a buyers list started - see, people who buy from you once are more likely to buy again - so, if you do it right now maybe you can go back and sell the a $17 - $27 item with just follow up.

Too much work, better off starting with a more expensive item to begin with.

Another effective method i have used is to sell the $7 report and attach a $17 or $27 upsell to it. What you can then do aswell, is offer 100% commissions on the $7 product and 50% on the upsell.

That way you will get people to promote, they will keep 100% of the front end, you will build a buyers list, and you will get some sales from the upsell too.

Alexa is right. The idea is build a list of buyers.

So when you launch your next report, you'll launch it to your list first, getting them to pay you right away, then they'll start promoting the product, growing your list with more buyers, so the report after that makes you even more money.

That's one method. There are others, but if you actually care about making the front end money from your reports, that's the way I'd do it.

100% Commision on the $7 report, and 50% on the other upsell

Can the $7 Script do that? (100% + 50% upsell) ? or the RAP?

            or they 'Both' can ?

Yeah Alexa is right. It's just a way of building customer relation and getting affiliates and buyers alike into your funnel, whatever it may be.

I would say that the tried tested true way to make a ton of money is give something away up front. It's PROVEN in multiple studies from marketing institutes that customer trust and relation is MUCH easier to build on and multiply when the have gotten something for absolutely FREE that was of VALUE that they WOULD have paid $$$$ for.

This is because when you offer to sell them something, they are already thinking, "Wow I got this GREAT XYZ from so-and-so previously that I would have paid $XXX for. I'd be glad to pay $7 for this" They buy it, they like it and think "I would have paid $27 for it!" then when you hit them with a $47, $77, $97 offer, they are almost EXCITED to buy from you to see how great of a deal they get.

When you sell them up front, you put a doubt into them, at EVERY price point and EVERY presentation. People who give for free up front, do 350% better than those that sell.

    My 2 cents.

If you have the right product you are selling for $7 and the have made some sweet sales copy, you really can build a huge list fast with this. The $7 secrets or RAP are some great ways to get your products to go viral and build up your list fast.

I am just putting some finishing touches to a 55 page ebook, which i intend to try something a bit different with based around the $7 principle.

I'll give it away for a few days , and then offer those that have got it for free 100% commission to promote it. I'll probably set the price at $17 for a few days and then raise it to $27

will it work?? No idea but it's worth testing out

Hasn't everyone missed the obvious answer?

(Which is: It depends on how much you sell. After all, sell a million of 'em and you'll gross $7 million.)

It all depends on volume, but you shouldn't forget that besides the price, QUALITY is the key to big bucks.

You will always have to test. That's the only way to
know if your report will make you alot of money.

When I learned this, I guess 18 months ago, it was
to build a list of buyers. A list that has bought from
you once, usually will be easier to sell to again.

When you are building a free list from give away
product, alot of these subscribers can also be
      only interested in free products.

      Some never buy.

Being that most of us have sold products for $7.00,
$14.00 etc, we always try to add an up sale to at
least break even or make a profit.

But test the $7.00 price yourself. Get your own answer.

You rely on the backend when it comes to $7 reports. Just give your affiliates 100% commissions and make money on the backend while building your list.
