What is the best bang for buck for a opt in form for word press. Can you name some free ones? Many thanks!

Optin form for what? For you your autoresponder? - The AR should provide you with the optin form. No need to buy or get from elsewhere. And there is no specific "optin form for WP". Or... you don't know what you are talking about. |

He's probably thinking of a squeeze theme. There are lots. The form itself (usually) comes from Aweber or whatever your autoresponder service is.

Even that doesn't make sense: "autoresponder for WordPress". There is no special AR for WP. WP is just a site building (content publishing) tool. You put into its HTML any AR code... just as you can put anything in any html file. Why do we have to over-complicate simple things? There are one zillion posts/threads discussing ad nauseam all the possible autoresponders. Just search. |

like Aweber or GetResponse... Then you can create a simple Form in the members area at that company's site, simply copy the source and past into a text-widget in your wordpress , widgets section, and place that text widget to your sidebar and you are ready!!! Regards, Mohsin | |

There is a plugin - Subscribe2: Subscribe2 Plugin but I don't quite see the point of taking that route - go with a proper company such as Aweber

If you are thinking of an autoresponder, I would suggest picking up either GetResponse of Aweber. They are the best in the industry as far as I am concerned. In the way of it being for WP, you can use the form code that they give you anywhere that accepts HTML so the form can go onto WP either in the Widget section or in the blog post itself. I also use a plugin called MaxBlogPress Optin Form Adder (Not An Affiliate, It's A Free Plugin). It can create an optin for for you for every post or in the widget section. It is really easy to use and you can cusomize them all you want. |
