Default Google results changing

Morning all

Is Google shuffling all it's results again?

I have a site that has been showing up in position #2 for the selected kephrase, but has disappeared. No underhand activity has taken place.

Do I need to worry, or just sit tight and wait? It's been 'missing' for a couple of days now.

Thanks

well, I had this happen to a site of mine. It was getting good ranks and all and now, it has vanished.

I think it started maybe 2 or 3 days ago.
When did you notice this?

Well, I think I will just keep building more and more links and write some more articles. There's nothing else I can do

bye,
faraz

Thanks Faraz

It happened just a couple of days ago. I am still link building from some Squidoo lenses, but I've done no blakhat techniques or anything that would cause Google to punish me.

Will just have to wait it out and see what happens. Hopefully it will return to the top again soon.

It happens to me these days too.. if I search now say it's on spot #4, after 2 hours it isn't anywhere.

I'll just wait and see

Your rankings will go up and down, especially for new sites. If your site is over a year old and suddenly disappears and does not come back in a week or two, you may be in trouble.

MY site has re-appeared in the rankings!! Hooray!! Back to #2 slot again. It's been a week, now, so was worrying.

At least it's back there now.

I had a site go to number 1, after a link building campaign, mostly article posting. Then it disappeared, then it came back.

I say, just keep working and only check G periodically, don't build your day around what they say. If only we truly understood Big G, then we'd be on easy street. Also, check your results on Yahoo and MSN (ask too), combined they can bring you a lot of traffic.
