Default Single or double opt-in - which do you choose?!

Hey Warriors...
First thank you to all of you who responded to my "What's better - Aweber or GetResponse".

Now... perhaps you can let me know what you think about this one - should you go with single or double opt-in?

Firstly - is single opt in just the sign up and you get it Vs the sign up and have to go to your inbox, click the confirm and then get it?

Anyway... I heard that with Aweber you you can only have one or the other....

Any thoughts Warriors?

Many thanks,
Beaumont.

Default Re: Single or double opt-in - which do you choose?!

Always double optin gives the high quality leads. But the downside is in non internet marketing niches people don't know how to confirm their links.

I used get messages in my inbox like "OK, Continue"

Can you guess it? It is the reply to the built in message in aweber " We need your permission to send further information"

In this case single optin can be better. But always include optin details in every emails you send.

Aweber and jvlistpro are choices if you want to build single optin.

Getresponse will not allow single optin list.
