How Do I Promote My New CB Product?

My New Product has been approved by Clickbank and now I am just waiting on my graphics guy. The sales page is complete, just missing new header/footer, etc.

It is a new method to monetize your blog or website - without competition that I know of...

What could I be doing to let people know about it before, and even after, it is released?

Will CB affiliates just start promoting it cuz it showed up in the Marketplace? Doesn't seem likely to me, but I have no experience with using CB for my own products.

It won't show up in the marketplace until you've made one sale.

You can be contacting related websites, youtube channel owners etc.. sending them a review copy to get testimonials and building up a list of people who will promote it when it goes live.

Now is the perfect time to line up people to promote it - the CB affiliates that find it in the marketplace should be icing on the cake.

I've got a new product going live in CB now too - and I've also made it available in physical form on Amazon, but just waiting for the first physical one to proof read it before it goes live, but I've also set it up as a normal ebook downloadable straight from the sales page, so it can be sold in 3 ways - You could probably do the same.

You need to set up a small army right now. You can ask for jv's here in the warrior forum. You can provide them with a review of your product to show them you have good content. You could also contact a few blog owner who get good traffic to your site and ask them to place a banner on the site and pay them a commission for every sale.

As Andy said, most affiliates won't promote something with 0 gravity. They want to know it sells.

Announce your product in some of the IM forums. Many of them have a clickbank section where you can announce.

That used to be the case but new accounts are now listed in the Marketplace on the next rebuild after the activation fee is paid i.e within 24 hours of activation.

        Thanks Harvey

What happens when it's on an existing account? I think I activated it in 2000

          10 years without a sale ?

I wouldn't ask ClickBank - they might charge you a storage fee.

Send some PPC traffic to the product to test and improve conversions .. and then approach possible JV partners.

Use a different clickbank id for the PPC traffic (not your product id) and it will improve your gravity.

All the ideas are good, get on all the main internet marketing forums - here, DP etc and promote your product to potential affiliates - you'll have more success if your product is good and the payout is high.

Have some good affiliate tools as well.

You'll end up with 98% of your affiliates that don't do much and only account for 20% of your sales and the top two % will account for 80% - these are the people to look after and spend time with

So, are you suggesting that I set up a duplicate site for testing that takes paypal and get people to promote it this way first, before activating it in CB?

      send them a review copy...
It is a software solution at $47/yr, so there is no product to review. I could easily set them up as a lifetime member so they can use it on their own sites.

I would tell you where to see the product here, but I think that is not appropriate for this section of the Forum.

You can ask for jv's here in the warrior forum
Since it is offered thru CB, what do I have special to Offer as a JV?
