They are making some changes for better security. They want you to change your passwords, and they are using a different ID system now.

I have several hosting accounts there, and they sent me an email about one of them, and sent the new password, which I could then go in and change. However, I didn't get a notification about my other hosting accounts. Maybe it went to the junk folder.

All I did was call them and within minutes tech support had me straightened out, new IDs and passwords.

It is much better than it had been.

Just give them a call. It's even a toll-free number.

I use Bluehost for 3 of my sites. They are all up and functioning at this time. I have had times when they were not accessible but that hasn't happened in quite some time (months).

Just as Don said.IO recieved the email last week.
Had to go in and change everything, well, password.
They now have a strength bar, every time you enter something,a red warning goes away.
You have to use letters, numbers, and any of those symbols on the top of your keyboard.
If you dont use a combination of all of them it wont let you reset your password.
Call them if you didnt recieve the email.

Strange thing about the new security is that it is only for cPanel. My FTP passwords do not meet the new guidelines, but I don't have to change them.

I'm working on some new things. So, nothing to promote just yet.

      My new password works now.

I've also gone to Bluehost's "Software/Server" category, and had "Concrete 5" installed. I'm just getting used to that now, as I only need to make one page. Period. And don't understand all of it.

Definitely a learning curve involved here.
