Hi, I'll started by admitting that using BBCode baffles me at least 98% of the time, and the other 2%, I'm clueless... So, here's my question. On this main forum page, all new threads carry a Bold title. Yet on others like the 'Warrior for Hire' pages, some do and some don't. Are smarter folks than me actually creating a bold title in their coding and if so, how? I've looked on various BBCode sites and still haven't found one where it's explained. Which of course makes the mystery even more intriguing! Anyway, if you know, please, do tell...! Thanks, Steve |

Simple answer: The subject lines are bold until you read them. Read threads go to unbold until there are new posts.

Hey Kevin, Thanks for that - one of the benefits of being in similar time zones, eh? I guess that means that all of the threads you personally create are going to appear in non-bolded type from the moment they are published, right? After all, it's to be assumed that most people read their threads before they publish them, although reading some make me less-than-certain that this is such a safe assumption to make... Anyway, thanks for that, Regards, Steve |
