Use This Checklist Before Choosing An Affiliate Program

Hi all,

I looked up for a while and I couldn't find any workable "scientific" method for choosing the right affiliate program or campaign to promote.
I know one cannot generalize and it's ot the same choosing among a mass market email only CPA offer and a recurring membership for a parrot lovers forum.
Anyhow, I tried to come up with a basic checklist just to get the ball rolling and covertly pick your brain and hopefully get at the end some valuable information for the fellow warriors trying to figure out why their mop affiliate banners in their personal blog don't bring in millions.
Here you have!

* Is the declared earning per click higher than your cost per click?
* Is the market big enough to make continuous sales?
* Is the market saturated?
* Are creatives provided by the affiliate network/program owner?
* Do you have knowledge/experience about the specific product or service you'll be promoting?
* Do you have knowledge/experience about the market of the speficic product or service you'll be promoting?
* Is your budget enough to run the needed campaigns?
* Are statistics provided by the affiliate network/program owner?
* Is support provided by the affiliate network/program owner?
* Has the offer been running long enough?
* Do you have access to general conversion data?
* Can you comply to ToS of the program?
* Do you have existing resources (website, domain name, articles, etc) you can use for this campaign?
* Do you have proof that the affiliate network/program owner pays?
* Does the program/campaign have money back warranty?
* How are refunds handled?
* Is the refund rate known?
* What are your goals for this campaign (in money and time)?

What would you add/remove/change?
