Hi there, Just wondering if y'all have had success using myspace. I have a personal page but I am considering making a profile specifically for promoting my internet marketing and financial education product business. Does myspace really work for this? What should I emphasize on my page? What are some good links for friend adders? |

Because both networks are so broad, the only success I have had with either is in video game music movie and video niches. The bottom line is that there has to be a need and if you can make something that using the WIIFM concept (think about the facebook apps), then you may make money on the social networks. Most of the old farts around here have no idea how to market to these types of social networks b/c they don't really know or understand who they are selling to and the BS meter on myspace is high so those "get rich quick" reports don't do so well. | |

myspace and especially facebook is great places to market your business. Social and attraction marketing is the way to go these days. Check out my blog under MLM training to read more about a progam that teaches this in a click by click manner. Cheers, Jan |

Myspace has proven to be successful with marketing efforts - thus the surge of marketers on myspace recently. What social networking websites allow you to do is bring together many people who have the same interests, then you can market your products or services to them once you show them you know your information.

It seems like a great resource for finding leads, but what you need to consider is: what is the average person on myspace, will the typical user take action on your sales pitch?

I have had good success for marketing offline events and conferences. I have not tried too many internet marketing products. But the strategy would be the same. We basically sought people to attend conferences and entertainment activities based on the Groups they belonged to and the friends they kept on their profiles. I have noticed that the bulletins have become too common place and seemingly, not that many people read them any more.... I don't... |
