Can I do this when I create a reseller program for product?

Warriors,

I have a physical product and I am going to open it up to resellers. But I want to be sure they do not UNDER price the current price I am selling the product for.

I am thinking about creating a "terms" form they have to fill out and sign before being approved. The price limit will also be noted as well as making sure they can NOT resell on Ebay, Amazon, etc.

Being the product owner, is this legal as far as setting the price and not allowing them to sell it at a lower retail price and putting other limitations on it as far as reselling it?

Just curious...

Thanks
Dayne

  • I have seen many product owners do precisely that. Altneratively, a much easier way, is you still take care of the deliverability (e-mail scripts, etc) -- so basically it still goes through your order link, but they get the profit.

Do you mean just an online affiliate program with an affiliate link?

I am going to open up an online affiliate program as well, but also a reseller program so they can buy in bulk, etc.
