Need help on keyword research

Hi all,

I have written so many articles for n number of warriors. After seeing them I also decided to launch a site.

I want to launch a site on weight loss but I am confused after seeing the google keyword search results.

There are many columns available local search volume, global search volume, etc.,

Can anyone help me on this what I need to examine before choosing any niche. Or something I still missing to check?

If you have any video to share with me, it would be really appreciative help for me.

Thanks to all my warrior friends.........

Well first of all you need to make sure that you're doing the right kind of match.

If the domain you're gonna be launching is new, Market Samurai indicates that the first pass of your domain will be getting exact match keywords. That's why if you're going for the short term, it's best to get the keyword in your domain. The thinking goes that over time, the queries that you site will start to rank for will be Phrase matched and then Broad matched.

So to begin with you need to ask youself the question is it a single product (in which case a keyword rich domain on an exact match keyword is going to be something to consider strongly) or something more broad. Generally if the domain is broader you can try and be creative in your choice of domain name.

Personally I don't trust the readings in Adwords but they are suggestions that you can then go off and market test with allintitle allinurl plus a few other bits and pieces. In this sense you get to see whether the keywords have commercial value. Even so I might just run a couple of Adwords campaigns on another domain, just to see what the ROI is. I'd never run Adwords on a domain I was trying to rank for organically. That's like suicide.

I advise anyone looking for video tutorials to go to YouTube and search for, in your, case keyword research or anything else you need to learn. Just remember to use the "search options" when you get the results and click "upload date" to get the most recent videos first. Also I have learned to avoid any videos with a length less than 5 minutes as the shorter ones tend to just be sales letter videos.

    Hope this helps!

    Look for these things
    Number of searches and CPC.

Then conduct allintitle for each potential keyword and get the low competition keywords.

Here is a video that covers basic keyword research

Now m bit clear about searches but not much.

But I am quite unable to understand CPC. Can anyone put more light on it?
