Hi there,

Hmmm.... not really sure why that's happening.

Did you copy and paste the code into the thread EXACTLY?

I haven't run too many WSO's, but I found a lot of value in the WSO Pro service.

It made everything a lot easier - automating payment buttons, delivery, and setting up price changes in the increments I wanted ahead of time.

Maybe you could have a look at that?

Check out warriorplus.com if you're interested...

Good luck!

Insert an "image" first (i.e., the paypal button), then have a link to it, and you will accomplish what you need.

Ok, firstly how does one insert an image? I've tried to insert an image. A dialogue box pops up. Requesting me to insert the URL of the image. How do I do that if my images are all on my PC/laptop?

Lest say I have a wesbite online with this image on this website too (ecover, header, graphic 'buy now' button or even a 'guarantee ribbon', how do i insert the/these images into the WSO?

I just launched my 1st WSo but realised I couldn't get the images & PAYPAL button onto my WSO thread.

Any help or direction is much appreciated.

Thank You.
Shawn

Easiest:

Get Downloadguard and copy that link. Put some button picture on your WSO and put that DLG link in it.

Alternative:

On the paypal interface, get that link for "email" (as far as i remember), does the same trick. Simply tie to a button image in your WSO post.

Hi Tmilli,

Sorry to so called - 'high jack' your post. But ist the same problem I'm having. No real replies from experienced warriors. I send a similar post. Got 2 answers. Thought I could read them later in the evening, but when i returned to the forum...I couldn't find my thread/post. Did a search via my Profile; Statistics; Find all posts/threads by 'myname' but could'nt find that particular post. Thats why I'm now looking around for answers on the warrior forum.

Its easy to insert images & Paypal buttons onto your website pages...but here its different.

Looking forward to some help.

Cheers!

I know how to do it with the e-junkie shopping cart but not PayPal -- sorry!

BUT...what I do with PayPal is create a simple html page on one of my websites (doesn't really matter which site), insert the PayPal button on that, and add a link to the html page in the WSO.

For example, here's the (pretend) WSO link to the html payment page.

It's not as direct as a button on the WSO page, but it gets the job done -- at least people can pay you while you're tracking down the button answer.

Hi Georg,

Thank You for your tips.

1) Downloadguard is a bit expensive for me at the moment. Paying for War Room Member fee and then WSO fee does take the initial toll on the budget.

2) Paypal 'email' code for 'buy now' buttons sounds good. But how does one tie/wrap the button image in the WSO post/thread?

Cheers!
Shawn.

Hi Summer,

Nice SEO articles packages. When the time is right I might just get them.

Yes, thats what I'm doing at the moment. I have a link on my WSO page to a webpage that is solely for this WSO. The webpage has the Paypal buttons. My only problem is that my WSO page doesn't have images - ebook covers, guarantee ribbons which I like to insert into the WSO page, but don't know how to. Probably thats why I don't have any sale, yet.

Cheers!
Shawn.

Shawn,

If you are making a WSO offering I'd expect you have a website or a blog or lens of some type.

Maybe you could copy the graphic and save it to graphic or media file on one your site or blog and link to there?

I agree, that is the easiest and fastest way. Just save the "buy now" button and paste it in the post and link it to your checkout destination

Gregg

Hi Winlin,

1) Yes, I have a specific website for this WSO.

2) how does one link this image file from the website to the WSO thread here?

For example...when we are editing or creating a WSO thread; we need to click on 'Insert Image' icon, the a pop up dialog box appears requesting us to type/insert the URL of the image...

What URL do we type/insert in? maybe if any of you could help look at my WSO - PassiveIncomeTactics to kindly help me understand how to insert an image on a WSO thread.

3) YES, I now know how to link words on a WSO thread. In my WSO, I've
used the words BUY NOW & link it to a Paypal email code. So, when anyone clicks on these 2 words; they would be brought to the Paypal payment page.

Please let me know if you can help me or do not understand what I'm asking.

Thank You all for your kind help and time.

I've kindly ask 4 different Warriors who are currently running WSOs, but no reply. Maybe they just want me to buy their WSOs. LOL.

Yeah i would also insert the image you want your paypal account to be linked to...then make that image a clickable link, and viola...your set.

You need two elements here.

  1. You need to upload your button image to your server.
  2. You also need the email version of your code.

Goto the advanced editor, and click on the 'Insert Image' button, and type or paste the URL of your button image.

Then once your image has been displayed, click on it, select the 'Insert Link' button, and paste your email version code.

If you want to use this image several times in your WSO, simply copy and paste it.

Job done.

HTH

Glenn

Ok I'll do my best to explain I have not done this myself in quite sometime so if I'm a little off or a little vague, anyone please add comments.

In your web sites files you should have a folder where your graphics are stored .gifs and .jpgs etc. In many cases it is called images or graphics.

You will need to upload a copy of the graphic into this file.

Once it is in that file you simply use the link http://www.yourdomain/yourgraphicsfile/graphicname.jpg (.gif etc.)
it should show pull into the post as such.

It really should be that simple unless I've forgotten something.

Good Luck
