Over 2000 visitors a day, please help me monetize!

Hi,

I've a blog that's over a year old, now getting about 2000 visitors a day with only a 100 pages indexed in Google. It is basically a glamor site, featuring pictures of ladies from one country. The entire site is based around girls from that one country.

However, there's no adult content on it. I'm currently running Adsense on it with a very low click through rate, making about $200 per month.

Dating affiliates provide little, and I tried Clickbank ebook promotion for a month without a single sale.

What could I do with it? please help me monetize my site.

    Change the placement and style of your adsense. Try different clickbank products. Offer banner ads for fixed monthly fee.

    Maybe you should give CPA a try. There are some good offers that are only single field conversions. Where is the majority of the traffic from? Got a link?

    Half of the traffic is from the country where the girls are from - the other half comes from around the world.

    It is apparent that the men who visit it are interested in dating, from the comments they leave. Unfortunately, dating affiliates pay very little.

      I didn't read any posts below this one, but once I read it only one thing came to mind...

      If the dating affiliates pay too little, start your own dating site focused on that one country. Then, you can integrate the two sites. On your current site, you can put a link saying "Are you interested in this girl?" and have it link to your dating site, where they can view her profile.

        Good thinking 99, way to think outside the box.

        Definitely consider this, I'm sure you could find a dating site script, or perhaps Joomla has this?

      Have the featured ladies mention some of their favorite glamor accessories (handbags, shoes, hair care, nail care, dresses, clothes, etc.) and make them affiliate links.

      Or poll the ladies and list the most popular items. Again put in affiliate links.

      Then generate a buzz about them so the guys will see what gifts they should be buying for their lady friends (current or desired). As well, the ladies visiting your site will want to buy some of them (social proof).

    What country if you dont mind me asking? Are the majority of your visitors male or female?

    Maybe you should put a survey on the site for a few days and offer a freebie for completing it. After all the more you know about your visitors the easier it is to sell to them.

    The majority of the visitors are male as they are interested in pictures and information about women.

    I don't think it would be prudent to reveal the country name as it would easily reveal the site, and since i have posted site statistics that would mean competitors can glean information from the forum. hence i wouldn't want to reveal it.

    Oh... sweety...

    Ok, you have hot ladies of a certain country...

    and boys looking for girls to get inspired while having an affair with their right hand...

    The more you know them the better... but there are 3 main areas where you could get them:

    how to pick up girls looking like those,
    how to pick up girls looking like those,
    how to pick up girls looking like those,

    so... why don't you take everything else out and add a link under each pic: 5 tips to get a girl like this (or something like that)...

    send them to a squeeze, grab their info...

    make the ebook rewriting articles from eza, or some...

    now... look for a good product to sell (all of them are crap, believe me, I know...), but you need to look for those that they would buy. The pick up artist was pretty easy to sell, double your dating too... not sure what is hot now, haven't checked on the kids for a while.

    load your autoresponder with more EZA articles, go articles or whatever... and add the link at the bottom.

    Also add some links to the product from the site. You need to broadcast it (only one to start), they need to be exposed to the ad around 7 times to have confidence in it (never really tested this, it is what brands use).

    Ok... from here you can (and should) grow a business... but it is a start...

    You said you promoted a clickbank product without luck... did you do it this way?

    I've thought of starting a dating site and linking the two, but the dating site niche is really saturated, and theres tones of competition from a lot of other dating sites about the same country.

    Work on the content you have on the site. If you have better content, visitors will stay on your pages longer and be more likely to click through on adsense or an affiliate product.

    You have good traffic, but make sure the traffic is targetted and you are using profitable keywords.

    Place a survey on your site to gather market intelligence then you'll know exactly what they want in quick time.

    A list is a great idea too to capture and update the casual visitor to return to your site when new content arrives.
