What do you feel a fair monthly price would be for IM coaching?

I realize there are many IM coaching sites available. However, we're taking a survey on what YOU (as Warriors) think would be a fair monthly price for IM coaching lessons that can be implemented the same day you learn them in order to help you succeed easier and faster.

Your thoughts?

Yes, I agree. Over-delivering seems to be one of the keys to success when offering IM products and IM coaching services.

I think that lessons which can be implemented on the same day as the coaching are a potentially positive selling point.

As for choosing pricing, I think it comes down to what type of coaching you are offering, your experience, the value of the service you're providing, and what you feel that your time is worth.

I remember reading something a while back about how everyone should have an estimate on how much their time per hour is worth. Knowing that is helpful, but it's obviously just one factor in pricing.

      Michael-
Are you saying this is what YOU charge or what you want to charge for your coaching services? or maybe this amount is what you want to pay?

I'm basing the amount I would be willing to pay on a specific part of your "question", namely:
...for IM coaching lessons that can be implemented the same day you learn them in order to help you succeed easier and faster.

    Michael -
Thanks for your imput. It seems for the past 3 to 5 years low-grade IM coaches charge about $19.95 per month and other high-grade coaches charge as high as $297 a month.

It depends on what you are offering and the results you get.

If you can offer results of $1000 a month on average then you would be worth $50, if you are offering $3000-$4000 a month then yeah, $200-$500 is acceptable.

So, do you know IM coaches who guarantee you an income of $1,000 to $4,000 a month????

Have you paid $500 a month and received $2K to $4K a month in return?

It would depend on how the coaching was done.

If it was delivered as a pre-set series of messages (regardless of medium), I would be willing to pay MUCH less than personalized, one-on-one, conversational coaching designed around my specific situation.

I guess $19.95 is what I would be willing to pay for pre-written messages that were made for a general audience. If there were a forum, or some level of interaction, perhaps $39.95 a month.

If there were something unique and extraordinary that was being offered, that would increase the amount I'd be willing to spend.

On the other hand, if it were direct, personalized, one-on-one coaching, I would feel more comfortable paying on an as needed basis, but would be willing to pay much more. Either per hour or per session. Deoending on what was being shared, and how good the coaching was, I would pay anywhere from $20 (per session) to $250 (per hour).

Also, I do coaching, but only on a one-on-one basis. I do my best to provide value. It isn't cheap, but who would want "cheap" coaching anyway?

My apologies for being snarky earlier, I'm just having one of those days, and that isn't your fault. Hopefully the more in-depth answer will help in some small way to put things right.

    All the best,
    Michael

Well being that all coaches aren't created equal and therefore all coaching isn't the same it would really depend on WHO is doing the coaching.
I would bet that most warriors would pay more for coaching with someone like Frank Kern for instance (case in point being his latest launch which included a 3 day seminar) than from someone they have never heard of, or who doesn't have a name or some sort of proof of success in the IM field.
Also the fact that everyone is at different levels in their experience will make a difference as to what they are willing to pay for coaching and WHAT the coaching involves. An experienced marketer in the field of PPC may be willing to pay another marketer in PPC, who is earning 10x the amount of money, a lot to learn some of their techniques. Where as a newbie may only be wiling to pay a small amount for coaching on PPC.
The bottom line is most people sign up for coaching from someone they can relate to and trust. As "The Marketing Spy" you may find it more difficult to get people to trust you and sign up for your program than if you were to just let people know who you are and what success you have had online.
Then again it may work to your advantage. It certainly seemed to work okay for "The Rich Jerk"

It all depends on your reputation and the value that you can provide.
If you start with a small chpean coaching program with few people and they succeed, then you have what it takes to launch a over delivering coaching program with a fair charge per month.
