| Bum marketing means, making profits via combination of free methods such as writing articles and affiliate marketing. You write keyword optimized articles while promoting affiliate products, submit them to free article directories and earn commission.

| Hate to be the one to say use the search function. There's gazillions of Bum Marketing (or article marketing) stories of all kinds... good, bad and the ugly.

Yes, but my question was'n what is bum marketing . Rather ... have you had any success at it. The Warrior Forum is a wonderful place for real feedback. I doubt I could get the same answers from a "google search" I believe you missed the point of my post. ![]() winlin |

you need to write articles constantly and submit them articles to directories. Unfortunatly it is time consuming for me. However, i can say that it works, as long as you are willing to site down and write articles constantly.

No, I don't think your point was missed, Absolute.Allen actually gave you great advice. You can accumulate many good success stories, find stories of people failing miserably, and everything in between by using the search function. BUM marketing, as almost any other method, can work great assuming you apply what you learn and take enough action. I'll agree with with Rob said, and what even Travis Sago would tell you. It is preferable to have your own domain name, and build your own sites, using all the free methods to promote your primary site, and to build your traffic funnel. |

Possibly I need to be more specific... "What succesess or non-successes have you "A Forum Warrior" had with the Bum marketing techniques.... If I wanted to search the rest of the Web , i could have easily done that... I'd like to hear from "Warrior Members" ...... What successes have you had with "Bum Marketing" Winlin Quote:

Yes I've also had great success with bum marketing. I believe what the others are trying to say to you is to use the search function here @ the Warrior Forum, not on google. There are numerous threads where members have shared their success stories about Bum Marketing. Off the top of my head, i recall someone made a thread about BM, where they had submitted 10 articles a day for 30 days. They promoted several products as an affiliate and earnt over $3000 in that 30 days. Another thread i recall from a while back actually outlined the exact plan they used to Bum Market. I believe they made a review style blog and then wrote (or outsourced) 25 articles. The articles were then submitted to the top 20 articles directories and they all pointed back to the blog. Everything was social bookmarked and the blog was RSS'd and submitted to over a 1000 directories. Within the space of about 4-6 weeks, they were earning in excess of $70 a day! I have also read of others here on the forum who regularly just use Ezine Articles and redirected affiliate links in their resource box. They simply submit as many articles a day as possible (20-100) and keep churning out the articles day after day and earn a bundle in affiliate commissions. However, this method of BM is sure to eventually burn you out! Cheers Partha |

Of course you can ask again! However, it may be better to search out these other threads on Bum Marketing first. Read, review and then make notes of any questions you have. Unfortunately, if you ask a question such as "has anyone been successful with BM?", you are more than likely to get hundreds of one line answers...not much use i'm sure you'll agree. However, by using the search function you should find many threads where members have outlined their exact plans and exactly how they achieved success (far more useful!) Cheers Partha | |

Yes I have had much success with "bum marketing". For those wanting to get their feet wet you might try PotPieGirl's theDAMway.com for some free intro insight. I started a number of people last summer learning via the 4 Day Money Making Blueprint, which is a video rendition of Travis Sago's BumMarketingMethod with lots of extras. For those that follow the instructions and do the work, success (sales) came quickly. Naturally I take that a step further and suggest working smart rather than working hard - ie, track your sales and spend your time on stuff that works. Easy to get discouraged Bum Marketing, though, if you don't have a plan or get swayed by every breeze (guru's list) that comes along. Stay focused and it does work. Regards, PCRoger. |

Bum marketing definately does work...submitting about 3 articles daily to ezines and the other article directories is sufficient to boost any websites traffic...very newbie friendly as well |

I've had pretty good success with bum marketing, but I moved on pretty quickly to other methods that make more money and quicker money. But it's definitely good for people who don't have money to invest etc.
