how to monetize political banner?

howdy guys,

I can get a GREAT deal on advertising at a political forum i frequent. the traffic is great, i know folks like to pull out their wallets because we invented the "moneybomb"

but im curious how in the world to monetize it? I can get a banner spot (something like 250 x 80) and im not sure what kind of offer to post, any ideas?

    Find something on there that you know people will be passionate about and sell it as an affiliate or create your own product. Maybe there is a service or membership site out there that could be of benefit for people that are heavily involved in politics? I wish I could help you more but I would be interested in hearing what you do.

    My mind just went into overdrive for a second....

    I'm not sure whether your forum is Right Leaning, or Left Leaning..But how about running a competition. Sell T-Shirts with the face of the most despised person from the opposing view point, with a contest to see who can "modify the T-shirt" appropriately.

    Offer the winner something exciting. Can you get an autographed book from the leader of the groups side of the political aisle? A personal thank you letter or phone call? Anything which helps them feel connected to the power of their party.
