Hey, is it okay to use the news logos on my website? Would I be breaking any copyright laws? Thanks!

Hey everybody, Would it be okay to use the news logos on my website? Would I be breaking any copyright laws? I have seen countless websites have news logos on their websites, like the **** berry, as an example. Is it legit to have the news logos on my website or would I get in some sort of legal trouble? Thank you for your replies!

Hey, Yea that is what I'm trying to do, play it safe. But I would really like to know if I would be allowed, because I see MANY people doing this, especially for **** Berry and other weight loss and teeth whitening products. Is it okay to use the news logos?

What logos are you asking about:confused:
Do you own these logos? Were these logos provided for affiliate use? Just to say "Would it be okay to use the news logos on my website?" leaves out a lot of information.

So the real answer, in this case, is that it depends.

With the new FTC guidelines, I have received emails from several ad networks that have informed me that using Logos to imply endorsement of the product is not allowed any longer. If there was an actual news report on a certain product, you can say ... in text ... no logo ... as seen on CNN. I would stay away from Oprah, if I were you.
