what I find unattractive about using youtube video on your page is that people tent to think that you are a newbie as soon as they see the youtube player on your page (people do not buy from newbies), but still I have seen some experienced marketers who are actually making a lot of sales using the youtube player on their pages. Another thing about using the youtube player is that people double click on the video to go away from your page and to the channel on youtube containing the video you are showing to try to find out more about you.(sometimes they do not come back to your page)

      No affiliate links man...

WHAT AFFILIATE LINK? are you assuming that just because I am providing that guy with information I am using an affiliate link? YOU ARE WRONG, that was not an affiliate link. I make thousand of dollars a day, I do not need to come here and use affiliate links. (if it was it was because when I went to google I clicked to the sales page through an affiliate and that was what was copied to my clipboard, I apoligize!)

I have heard people talk about using amazon s3. It is a paid service. I have never used it but it is something to look into.

Squeeze page is part of a sales funnel. Putting youtube on your squeeze page is like putting a hole in your funnel. People that should be going on to the rest of your sales process, are now clicking away to watch other youtube videos.

If used right, a youtube video can help increase traffic. But you don't want it on your sales page.

On your final sales page it might be a bad idea, but on any other page YouTube is a great choice.

Think about how many of the big name marketers are using YouTube. They do it because it serves two purposes. It lets them have the video on their site, PLUS it is on YouTube and is bringing even more traffic into their funnel.

Many marketers use Amazons S3 service for their storing their videos, and then use a flash player on their websites.

I load my videos to Amazon S3, use Amazon's Cloudfront for distribution (much quicker), and a JW Player embed on my site to play the video.

    Hi I use youtube.

I use vtubetools to embed it into my landing pages so that I can set the size and have it auto play.

    It might help..
