Loads of ways to earn revenue from cyberspace the best thing to do is build up the quality traffic to your site or blog and then try a few different methods to see what works best, what works for one person may not necessary work the same for someone else.
Its all trial and error another problem being that if someone does find that magic formula they wont disclose full details on how its done for free.

I use adsense,CPALeads, adbrite, clicksor, juicyads and a few others some work better than others.

There are many ways to make money from the internet. You just got to know what you are doing.

If you looking to make a quick dollar then you should be looking into affiliate marketing but if you looking to make a good steady income then you will have to set up your own website/blog, create an evergreen product and start generating traffic to your site.

Making money online isn't that different from making offline...
It all comes down to what skills you currently have or what skills you'd like to aquire....

    Are you an excellent writer?
Maybe you're very good at building websites?
Or you might be an excellent salescopy writer?

Take a look at where you are now (when it comes to skills, time to spend on working on your buisness etc.) and then take some time to think about where you want to be in a few years... ("I want to be a millionaire" isn't enough bwt

Do you want to spend all day in front of your computer writing articles, or do you think it could be cool to dig into unknown markets and write short reports on various stuff?

Always try to think long-term... Make a long-term plan and such... But, first of all, give us some more information about yourself and what skills you currently have, then I'm sure we'll be able to help you get started

  • It all depends what skills you possess and how you want to make money. As other warriors have said, there are MANY ways to make money online. Some involve a little more work than others so you have to be prepared to work hard. However, there is no doubt that having your own business is very gratifying. Good Luck

I don't think there is one more way that is popular than the other. I believe it's preference. It's what interests you the most. Make sure you do your research to figure out what is the best way for you. DO NOT rely on someone else to tell you what they think is the best way because it may not work for you. Trust me, it's not an over night success, you have to bust your butt to make it work. Also read, read, read in this forum, you will find a lot of good useful information. Good luck.

If you have a skill that you could sell, such as writing, design, or whatever, freelancing can bring in a small amount of cash, fast.

Personally, I'm starting with my fingers in many pies, and I will focus my efforts later on what is working best.

So far (after 2 months) I have set up a lot of different schemes, and most of the money at this point has come from selling my unique products and services. I've not yet made a sale from an affiliate link, though I haven't focused much energy on that area yet.

      Suggestions for getting started fast:
Create a digital product to sell on Clickbank/Tradebit/eBay
Do a freelance gig on Fiverr or Elance or a WSO here on WF

There are so many ways to make money online that you won't get a definitive answer. What you need to do is determine your own skills and interests and pick a plan and try it out and then do it again until you come up with what works for you. This forum is a motherload of make money online info, but there are many different ways, including promoting affiliate offers, site flipping, Adwords, CPA Networks, offering services and on and on.

Same way you do offline, become important to your market by offering your customers a valuable product or service.

If that sounds simplistic, it was supposed to.

So many people get lost in tactics, techniques and opportunties that we forget the concept of a market and the continual growth in value aimed at particular markets.

Look at the "guru's" in any market - take our friendly IM cocoon...the guys that have stayed at the top over the last 5-6 years, have grown massive lists and make high six and seven figures do it by continuallly targeting their market with products and services that fulfill unmet desires.

    What does it take?

    1. Understanding the market - who they are, what they seek to be that they are not today
    2. Know what frustrations, obstacles they experience - these are the "trigger points" for knowing what specific problems they want to solve and guides your ideas for product or service offerings
    3. Finding and/or developing products to meet the need. To the customer, it doesn't matter if you develop them or not so long as they are good. To you, it should. I like at least 50% of my income from my own products/services - ideally even higher. At the same time, it doesn't make sense to think I can develop it all, so I partner, license and resell.
    4. Developing and positioning your products/services to be unique. This involves a combination of marketing you and your products as well as planning a unqiue differentiator into your products/services
    5. Effectively targeting your market. Half of this is initial research, the other half is ongoing testing/validation to find the most profitable ads, keywords, content, locations, etc...
    6. Having a "pipeline" of products/services to continually grow momentum and per customer profit levels

So - when people tell you it is about one product, one service, one marketing technique, one monetization technique...you are not getting the whole story.

Building a business is more than making a few bucks and then collapsing back into a funk again.

    My experience.

No matter which way you cut it, if you come into IM with no knowledge and no experience in business, then it isn't the easy path to riches.

However, if you piece together every nugget of information that you can find, you'll likely discover that there are two basic ways to make money - sell your own products or sell others' products as an affiliate.

The two can then become intertwined.

There are other ways - adsense, copywriting, etc, but these are the two basic approaches.

My preferred method is to create products, which I now do in my niche, and then, having built a list of buyers, sell them more products that we create and as an affiliate.

I do now also build some affiliate sites and drive traffic to them. This really results from having learnt how to build a site and drive traffic as a pre-requisite for succeeding in selling my own products.

In many ways, when you understand the ideas and techniques, I find affiliate marketing a lot easier and more stable than selling your own products, but less rewarding and less stable as a long term business.

There are definitely several ways to make money online, but the hardest part is deciding which one and which way you want to go about doing it.

I think of it like this... Since anyone and everyone is always trying to sell you something; everywhere you turn someone wants you to buy this or buy that, or buy one get one free, or buy this for half the price today, only today and so-on.

Stop trying to sell sell sell, stop looking for your first buck or first dollar online, but think about, "How You Can Help Others". How will what your looking to promote/sell help your customers, potential customers, clients, people and so-on.

If you can show them, how it will help them, "I GUARANTEE, you will make money online!"

For example, I sell an article marketing service to "HELP" others, website owners or webmasters in building backlinks for their websites. If they want to pay me upfront they can, if they want to pay half now and half when the project is done, they can, if they want to pay after its done, they will...lol... I let them decide. Remember, I'm just trying to show them that what I have to offer "IS" going to "HELP".

Everyone is more willing to purchase something, if, you can show them that what they are going to buy will help in what they are trying to accomplish.

    Good Luck!

In order to make a decent amount of cash online, you have to have a unique idea.

Asking people for "what works" doesn't mean it will work for you.

Example, you can say "Tim, how do you make money?" I reply with "I program".

I forget to mention all the TONS of crap behind it.

Sure, I can explain it a bit..but that doesn't mean you will be as efficient as me.

Think of a unique idea, utilize tools that are at your disposal. Pray it pays off.
