There's a FireFox add-on called Download Helper you can check out. I believe it will do the trick.

If I can't download a video, I just screen capture is and then use it. Always make sure that you don't alter any of the video due to any copywrite and infringement policies.

HELP NEEDED! My Mother And Her Brother have been taking care of the mother with the help of Hospice. He just had a Massive Heart Attack while taking a short vacation. Jeff - Just because you don't alter anything doesn't mean you're not violating someone's copyright. Technically, just by doing screen captures you're altering their property if you use it online.

I have a free YouTube Downloader on one of my sites: Download YouTube Videos

This script will download the video in mp4 or flash format.

This is an online application, which does not require any installation. Additionally, I have a link on the same page to a free flash player.

Alot of the youtube download sites I used to try stopped working..

After a few google searches, I found another reliable one:

I have used kissyoutube

basically you just put "kiss" infront of the you in youtube.com/xxxx

so it would be Download Youtube Video. Just add 'Kiss'! Keep It Super Simple. - KissYouTube rest of the url

edit: the url I posted automatically added that link... anyways just put kissyoutube.com/rest of the url

It will save as an FLV file on your pc. I have used it before and it worked well, but I have not used it in a few months. Hope it helps

If you download and install "Realplayer", there is an option you can check to activate the downloader. If you check this, you can download almost ANY videos on the web. If you move the cursor on top of the video player (on the web page), a small rectangular box which says "download this video" shows up. You can just click it and it downloads the video. It is the most useful thing ever for me.

If you have real player, it has a browser addon that allows you to easily download youtube videos, and videos from other sites as well. When a video on a webpage is downloadable, it tells you.

I just bought the best YT downloader from WSO. Better than anything I've seen. Download Helper is nothing compared to YTD. It's not free but well worth the money and more.

I personally like and use Firefox's free add-on, download helper, it can download almost every video in any webpage, plus, it's FREE, and it can download multiple videos in one webpage, if it has many videos, so that you don't have to click "save as" to every videos!!
