Hey Warriors,

I just had my site redesigned and I was hoping I could get your opinion on it.

I was going for a clean professional look. I don't know if it came out to feminine though?

What do you think?

    It's a clean almost perfect style, I love it
    The only thing that I would add is some kind of line to separate the posts from the sidebars.

        It does look nice and clean, professional as you said it. I am not sure about feminine.

        One thing I would change is the text colour on inside the red nav menu headers on the right hand side as it is very hard to make out what they are saying.

    But if you're really concerned about looking "feminine" - then change your top background .png to a bold color and call it done ;~)

    I am a total girlie girl and I can confidently say that this is in no way feminine!

    It's very sharp and clean and professional, not feminine!

    I think the site has a nice crisp look... very clean, just the way I like my own sites.
    I really don't see anything that I would change, personally.

    Also, it doesn't strike me as feminine at all.

    Too feminine? Lol no, not hardly. It's just a real clean looking web 2.0 site, that looks good in my opinion.

    Many people believe sites need to look very busy. I disagree strongly. What happens a lot of times is that visitors get distracted with so much stuff, no one thing catches their attention, and we all know what that means right?

    Design is clean and very minimal, just how I like it. Typography is elegant and very easy to read.

    The only thing are links inside the drop down menu that don't display properly. You can easily fix it by making sure that each <a> element inside the menu has the css property display:block

    I don't know if this counts as design-related (does layout = design?), but your opt-in box isn't above the fold.

    One idea I have would be to make it more visible by getting rid of some of the text above it, or even to stick your opt-in box in the header where the "new blog post" thingy is.

    I really like the colors and design.

    My other observations are that you could maybe throw more pictures or something up on the site and spice up the headlines for the articles, they seem boring.

    I don't think the site looks to feminine at all but the guy in the video....well that's another story.

    Just kidding. The site looks great. My only suggestion would be to take your signature off the bottom of the post on the "about" page, as the post is written in the third person but then you put your name at the end.
    Other than that it looks great. Good luck with it.

    I really like the clean, non-cluttered look of your site. Had a heck of a time searching for anything that could be considered feminine. No pink, lavender or lace etc... or any of a multitude of things on my "that looks feminine" list .

    I do see the potential for some type of separation between the content and the right side bar.

    The color scheme is great. It looks very professional and clean.

    The one thing I still can't figure out is how you were able to create the scent of Ed Hardy for Her perfume to enter my home, and the Justin Bieber tunes were a bit much. My wife thought I was sneaking a lady into the house.

    But the hat on the guy in the video fixes all of that. It balances out to a nice neutral feel.
