Viral Marketing Strategies: Virus might be on your PC

There are so many viruses, malware and spyware that spread in the Internet.
I've checked my PC and I was shocked when I discovered there are so many
malware, spyware and viruses reside in my pc.
It could be some sort of marketing and literally it is viral. Viral marketing
When we talk about viral marketing, we are looking at Viral PDF or brandable
PDFs, Referral scripts, tell-a-friend, email forwarding strategies like hotmail
signature, email chain letters, article syndication, video syndication, rss sndication,
torrent, free e-course document sharing, JV giveaways, social networking, dmoz, yahoo answers, press release distribution, templates submission, PAD submission, etc.
Viral Marketing through viruses and spyware is a no..no.
I am using XP so in your windows OS, it could be different.
Not all viruses, malware and spyware can be detected so it's essential
to check the files running in your PC.
When you see any files with type .exe in c:\ or c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 or at C:\Documents and Settings\YourComputerName\ (I usually sort the files according to Date Modified because if I didn't install any software there shouldn't have any .exe file added in my computer) and check it is also in the registry or in startup..find it in google to know if it is a virus..usually it is hidden and read only so you'll have to remove it in the process (CTRL + ALT + DEL) or right click it to change the property be archive attribute..When the attribute became archive then you are able to delete it. As I've said the location might be different so better check it first in Google. Usually there are methods included on how to remove the virus manually. Beware on removing some entries in your registry .. you must remove only the virus or spyware.
If you know any other ways to remove it manually then share it. Again, not all antivirus
can detect viruses
Since I am talking about viral..what other viral marketing method you know to distribute your products for potential sale and build your list fast? And what is your best approach or easiest approach on how to literally build your list fast and gain lots of traffic?
