A recently popular linkbuilding strategy on the WF, a few questions...

Hi warriors,

Good morning or afternoon!

i am a software programmer. I can create slick GUI software utilities that you can submit it to various software directories and get links. This is a powerful marketing/link building strategy i have doing recently. I created a software utility, actually a slick looking system benchmarking utility for my site and got a lots of links from softpedia, download.com, brothersoft.com, and more.

Now, i dont know how many of you understand the power of this marketing strategy. After i completed, submitted and got links from a software design. I programed another one to submit it to widgetbox.com and bebo.com and got links from there too.

As you can see, those sites are PR7-8 sites. Getting links from them legitimately, gives me the edge over my competition, as no one in my market does that.

And even better, i get traffic from the links i place on the software. So made some few sales as well. But i just submitted one last week. I did not do that for sales, but for links, i got that, enough of it. I am happy for that.

So, i had this idea, when i was in shower, to create a service for you warriors where me and my team would design, program and create a cool looking and an useful utility, and as well as submit to 300 top software directories. We will create an application, a widgetbox widget and a bebo widget, submit it all widget directories as well.

Now, i dont know how many would be interested, so i just want your help, and what would be the ideal pricing for this service?

If i can make atleast $1500 - $3000 a month from this service that would be a worth while venture!

Eagerly awaiting your reply.

Sincerely
Esh

I want to give you a hint... It is called the "Warriors For Hire" section of the site. There is also an area called "Warriors Special Offers". Those are the areas to sell your services.

Yep, as mentioned above , you should formulate your offer as a WSO or post directly under Warriors for Hire paid listing.

In any case, these sort of services are always sought and I am sure you can do well with it.

Well all he we need to do is offer beta test copies as here, www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/192230-beta-testers-needed-automated-software.html#xsQRg1oJlEAddzcs and I can't see why he can't post it here in the main forum. I'm being sarcastic by the way and no disrespect meant towards you Esh. Sounds a cool idea

hmmm, thanks for all reply guys and a gal

what im looking for is to know are those kinda service will receive good response. I dont want to just slap an ad on wso thread and answer all questions like "if this strategy really going to help me?" hmm. That said, its a service only meant for peeps that understand this strategy.

well no offense taken and nothing intended as well!

Yeah kim, you are right. I wanted to know the demand for those service in this thread. WSO is where you offer for that demand right, agree with me?

Because i thought you warriors are well educated on this link building strategy because of recent offers in the wso, like softwaresubmit pro, that tells people to create EXE EBooks or the SoftSubmit method which i bought teaches you how to really build an acceptable app to submit to software directories.

But i always know, widget marketing and software marketing are not that widely taught and sold. This is something All the traffic generation course makers need to get taught LOL

    Again no offense to anyone!

Like i said, no one is doing even in my hyper competitive niche, that implies no one understands or knows this method if that the case, i dont want to spend my time educating people on this strategy, which is a waste of time, because if marketers are serious enough, they sure will want to learn this one

With that said, im not going to do this service at all. Let me keep it to myself and afterall why would i want to build anyone a $3000 worth software utility and a $500 worth software directory submission for only $99????? I must be a total fool to do that! And oh yeah that is a heck of a lot work on my side which will keep me awake untill the wee hours trying to debug the software or trying why a function doesn't work on another platform, right eh?

So sorry folks, you can all still do videos, articles, community bookmarking, social network spamming and profile spamming

again no offense to anyone, just a reality.

If i am wrong, correct me

    Sincerely,
    Esh

I would definitly be a possible customer to a service like this. Anything that can bring variations to the backlinking, as well as giving non spammy, high pr backlinks is my taste.

What I would like from a service like this:

-I show you my website, and explain what type of traffic or backlinks I want-
-You suggest applications that can fit my page
-I chose one of the suggestions, or accept the suggestion.
-I recieve the complete app and aprove it.
-It get submitted to the different places.

The only question is how much will it cost. I have no experience doing this, so it would be hard to suggest a price.

hi kim LOL @ the cow hahaha Thanks again gal

    hi mistermunch,

great, actally, my execution process is much similar to that.

    I analyze client's traffic
decide the kind of software that works
send the sketch of software to clients for approval
then work on the software, send the complete version for comments and improvements
send the list of software directories
create pad file and submit it
    send the submission report

The cost im comfortable with is $499 to $999 per project. $499 for a basic software and $999 for extreme version. I dont know if that's acceptable rate, because i create a killer software that requires a lot of work

    hope it helps!

    Cheers
    Esh
