I know all the top marketers use storylines in their marketing because they work so well.

In a pre-launch video I got from Frank Kern, he talks about it:

Quick Video Marketing

P.S. This is NOT a promo, and that is NOT an aff link.

But it DOES give some great insight into developing storylines in your marketing, even if you aren't a very exciting person.

Wondering how other fellow Warriors feel about this, and how it has worked for you.

Yea, people don't want to hear the sales pitch. They've heard them all. People want to be entertained AND given value.

I for one use storylines all throughout my marketing with great success.

    On a little different note...

Probably another good reason that storyline based web type concepts have done so well! A couple good examples, in case some aren't aware of the following successful web ideas. Bet there's lots of room and opportunities to startup "storyline" based web site concepts/blogs that are very niche focused...

Frank's videos are very cool and the storyline is indeed good. Thanks for sharing, Jay!

Dave777, why are you posting your links all the time, that is what signature is for

      Chris,

I wish those were my links. Those sites would be making me a fortune! All the links and sites that I reference are strictly to help other warriors which some seem to appreciate. Others passing through, please comment and let me know if this is against warrior forum rules and I'll stop!

      Thanks

Thanks Chris! I'm aware about the sig file. Just thought I'd toss out some free help and ideas for awhile before promoting stuff. No one replied to my thread regarding this question so I'm assuming that it's not a problem...

My best converting sales page is a personal story and it converts like crazy. The whole sales page is a story. I have watched through a website that records your visitors movements and visitor after visitor start at the top, and read, read, read all the way to the bottom.

    Highly recommended.

And what is it? I'd love to see which story theme is working for you.

Maybe one of the best story-based sales letters is for Frank's Mass Control but he just took it down

I hopped in the Delorean and grabbed it though: http://web.archive.org/web/200802031...com/mafia.html

Most of my storylines go into my email marketing. I try to provide people with an entertaining read, cliffhangers, surprises, and weave it all together so instead of them thinking "this guy's just promoting stuff to me", my subscribers hopefully think "oh cool, I wonder what Jay has to say today"
