Importance of building your rescouces

Want to know the difference between the pros and those that struggle with IM?

The pros have built a number of resources. Here is an example-

Many find it almost impossible to make money in the web directory business. I know that if I buy a decent quality directory at a decent price, I will make money with it. Reason is that I have the resouces to make it happen. While money is an important resource, that is not what I'm talking about. I own a number of popular directories and I can refer paying customers to any directory I like. That is my resource.

For many, it is a large opt-in list. For others, it is a few high ranking web sites in one niche.

If you are willling to share, what are your important resources?

    Shaun, It is a good list. Thank you for sharing.

    What I am really talking about are resources that you develop for your own use.

    Many noobs want to know were to start. How about creating a twitter account with 10k followers? Now I know that that suggestion is not going to solve all IM problems, but it would be one item in your own private tool box that can help make marketing efforts more effective.
